Sure, I'll bite. I'm trying very hard to gain access to medical care, but have been stonewalled by the facilities nearby. I'm stuck on a waiting list even though I have life-threatening issues at hand, and desperately need treatment in order to survive in the long run. So, I'm just hoping to whatever is out there that I'll be able to access the care that I so desperately need within the next few months.

I pray for you to get the assistance you deserve, and for good overall health safety for you Roxas, and a future where you come out strong.

I feel especially passionate about what you are going through because I have medical problems, not life-threatening, but have been in situations where it was not easy for me to get treatment. I have no health insurance, and often postpone going to doctors because it costs my money. There is a clinic for low-income people in my community mostly run by volunteers and medical students and that provides some basic preventative care for low cost like routine check-up, blood work, paps, flu shots and can offer discount medication, but there are limits to how much care they can offer, they are not a hospital equipped to deal with a major crisis, but without this place I would have nothing, and am glad that I have some options that plenty of people don't. I think that you are being courageous in the face of waiting and fighting to get the proper medical care, and want to thank you for sharing your story.

I am lighting a candle for you, and sending all good things your way. You will stay in my thoughts, and I am here in this thread or over pm if you ever need a friend. I hope for all the best.

I don't like the word "anniversary" but I'm sure of another way to put it.

Today marks the day my dad passed away...16 years ago. I was so young, but he remains in my memory and I wish I got to know him better. Or just that he could still be here.

I'm so sorry that your father is not with you now and was taken when you were so young. My own dad's birthday was yesterday actually, and reading about how you miss your dad reminds me to appreciate what I still have for all of the eccentricities of my own parents.

It's natural that you would feel uneasy at this time. I think your dad is still with you though, even though it might not always feel that way. The people we love never truly disappear. It might be helpful to think of February 21st as a remembrance day for your dad where you can celebrate him. Perhaps siblings or your mom can tell you lively stories about your dad to help you remember him? Looking at family photos also usually brings a smile to my face. You could give some love to any possessions that were his, like his favorite books, or the chair he rocked in, or just close your eyes and talk to your dad, write down a message that you would want him to have.

From getting to know you as a friend this last year I think that your dad has reason to be proud of you because he has a adult son that's smart, braver than you know and deeply feeling.

With a 100,000 cases of Corona virus seen across the globe I want to keep in my thoughts and prayers those who are sick or living in areas where the virus has spread. Wishing a speedy recovery for anyone who has been infected, and for the continued safety and good health of anyone who is in a place that puts them at risk. In my state a few cases of the virus have recently appeared, and my heart goes out to those individuals. Stay strong! I burn this candle as your guiding light. Also blessings on our doctors and scientists who are hard at work helping everyone. The vaccinations are coming!
