My old thread is just about dead. So I'll make a new one. This is my subpassing Togekiss.

    Togekiss@Leftovers
    Nature:Calm???
    Substitute
    Baton Pass
    Air Slash
    Flamethrower/Wish
    EV:???

    I need help on natures & EV's.

There are much better Subpasser than 'Kiss...

    Vaporeon has better HP
Jolteon and Ninjask are the fastest BPs, getting sub on them as well is a bonus...
Driblim is possibly the best one, passing off quite large subs, as well as a few CMs

However, all subpassers should have 252 HP EVs

    Well the usual EV's are 252 HP / 240 DEF / 16 SP.DEF, something similar maybe ?

My experience on shoddy battle with this passing Subs arnt to good they get broken before it can Baton Pass out just not enough speed unfortunately and even if you give it speed EVs it fails at being a tank. However it fantastic at passing wish.

    Try this

    Togekiss@Leftovers
    252 HP / 240 DEF / 16 SP.DEF
    Calm Nature
    - Wish
    - Baton pass
    - Air Slash
    - Aura Sphere

Ive found out that Wish and Sub are in fact good, so you see what your opponent sends out if you Baton Pass on the switch, so you can choose what to send out based on what they send out, resist the attack and get free HP Recovery , works a bit like U-Turn, however it cant learn that lol.

Well, Drifblim is sounding...well, I'll think of it.

    Is this a good set?

    Drifblim@???
    Nature:???
    Thunderbolt
    Shadow Ball
    Substititute
    Baton Pass

What is the nature, EV spread, & item for such a set? Salac berry?

The only Drifblim set that I know is the one where he passes substitutes.

    Drifblim @ Leftovers
    Aftermath / Calm Nature
    EVs: 236 Sp. DEF / 176 SPD / 96 HP
    - Baton Pass
    - Substitute
    - Hypnosis / Calm Mind / Stockpile
    - Shadow Ball

Hypnosis will help pass the substitutes, Calm Mind gives you another option to pass with BP but this is going to be difficult since Drifblim only has an average speed but it will add an extra bite to the Shadow Ball. Stockpile is an option if you want to pass defense.

For the set you posted I would go with something like this:

Drifblim @ Petaya Berry / Liechi Berry
    Unburden / Timid Nature
    EVs: 216 Sp. ATK / 200 SPD / 92 HP
    - Baton Pass
    - Substitute
    - Thunderbolt / Shadow Ball
    - Hypnosis

I'd use Hypnosis to take one Pokemon out of the battle and eventually pass the offensive berry boost (and maybe a substitute) to your sweeper. I would also go with Thunderbolt over Shadow Ball to hit Skarmory and Suicune when the come out and attempt to phaze away your substitutes. But you can put in Shadow Ball if you want for STAB. Before I forget, the ability Unburden will send Drifblim's speed through the roof after the activation of the pinch berry, which will make BPing really easy.

Thanks Lex, this is very helpful.

OK, um, Dark, this is ironic. On my first Wishing on a Star thread, that was my EXACT SET!!! YOU told me that I should give Togekiss Substitute! Remember, you said I can buy it at the Game Corner.

Yeah but ive since experimented with it on Shoddy battle. Baton Pass and Wish are in fact good if you do it on the switch, it helps with predicting, like U-Turn.

If you want Sub passing go Driftblim or Jolteon, Togekiss is to slow for it.

You've seen my team, right? I am planning on switching Noctowl, my primary sp.wall. If she's gone, I'm gonna need a sub passer to also absorb SP.atacks. I can't use Jolteon, but can I use Drifblim to send CM's & Subs as Lex said? Will that hurt my team?

Driftblim is ok, for its HUGE hp, although it has base 44 and 55 defense and sp.def respectively. So i dont know about absorbing sp.attacks.

Then what can I do for subpassing? You know, without damaging my team?

Is a sub passer really important ?

You might want to consider something that doesnt add to that Ice weakness once your Zong is gone.

EDIT: Sims how about Umbreon or Vaporeon who can pass both Subs and Wish?
