I don't have any, unfortunately. Sooooo, I've been contemplating making one of those and I've finally decided I might as well. I like getting to know people, so I figured some would like the same in return.

Let's start off with the basics. My name is Alex, I'm 18 years old and I'm currently on my year off from education. I no longer attend school and I live in Norway. In my upcoming year I will be applying for an apprenticeship which will last for two years and give me experience enough to take my final exams.
    • My favourite Pokémon games are BW2 and Pokémon Colosseum. I'm currently in the progress of finishing ORAS and I'm planning to complete a competitive living Pokédex. Yes, that also means I'm into competitive battling but I'm not very good at it.
    • I love making friends. I might be a bit awkward and not a very good conversationalist, but I love getting to know people, about their habits, interests and such. It always interests me and has made me into a very curious person.
    • Video games are my passion. I actually took the year off initially to try and become professional in a video game (in the eSports scene) but realized quickly that it wasn't gonna happen, so I've been taking it easy and just been enjoying my year off. I play all sorts of genres, but my favourites are easily JRPG, RPG, MOBAs and RTS games. I consider myself to be talented when it comes to video games and find mastering them a lot easier than other people.
    • I love anime but I don't read as much manga. I have a MAL that's linked in my signature. I haven't been up-to-date with the recent seasons, unfortunately.
    • I'm a huge VGM (Video Game Music) fanatic, and I love music in general. I tend to prefer lyric-less songs and more often than not, I listen to Touhou soundtracks. Preferable genres are orchestra, nightcore, bass and such. I'm not picky but I don't like heavy metal.
    • I don't have much else to say about myself as a person, but I'm very easy going so it shouldn't be a problem for anyone to get along with me. I am very passionate and emotional which in turn makes me very wary of my own actions and how people feel around me. I also have a lot of emotional experiences and tend to put myself in other peoples shoes to understand their situation better and try to help them to the best of my abilities in cases where they need comfort.
That's about it for what I have to say. Fire away with questions~

What the hecky no one's asked a question all this time?! Well, now that I have access to the Member Encyclopedia, I shall be the first! ^^

What is the very first video game you've ever played?
What's the last anime you've watched?
What is your favorite orchestral video game music?

I feel horrible for not having been able to answer this before now.

What is the very first video game you've ever played?
The first video game I ever played? There's no way I'd be able to remember, but there is a fond memory I can share. When me and my family was planning to travel they decided to let me buy one GBC game that I could play along our journey and the choice I had was between Pokémon Silver and Super Mario Bros. I remember picking the latter which ended up kick-starting my love for the franchise, and is one of the first games I played. Later on I got my hands on Pokémon Yellow which started my love for Pokémon.

What's the last anime you've watched?
As of right now, the last (full series) anime I watched was Kantai Collection.

What is your favorite orchestral video game music?
This is a really hard question to answer because I have so many favourite pieces. This recently became one of my top favourites.

Thanks for asking! I guess this can act as a bump for other people to take notice.

What made you think that your dream in becoming a pro-gamer was not gonna happen?

League? Dota2? Heroes of the Storm? Smite?

Also, do you think that a soloque rating means a lot in defining a player's individual skill in whatever game?

Hitting a wall and getting demotivated from continuing. I tried really hard to get past it but it just wouldn't budge, then I realized I just didn't have dedication strong enough to actually be able to do it.

League? Dota2? Heroes of the Storm? Smite?
I've played all four. League of Legends was the game I wanted to go pro at and I was capable of consistently beating high-tier Diamond players. It wasn't until they introduced Master-tier that it became too hard for me to climb because of how it screwed up the MMR system and put the Diamond 5 league a whole 200 MMR lower than it should've been.

I like DotA 2 but the learning curve is difficult and I haven't put myself into it. Heroes of the Storm is something I've played lots with my friends and I like it as a casual game. Played a bit of Smite and really enjoyed the different MOBA experience, but couldn't get into it because lack of friends.

Also, do you think that a soloque rating means a lot in defining a player's individual skill in whatever game?
I think soloqueue ratings is a nice perspective to take into account because it shows how well you can perform independently from your team and that you grasp important aspects like map control, lane control, game flow, mechanics and shot-calling. It's a nice measurement to have when you're specifically looking to improve yourself. But the rating becomes less valid as you start entering competitive team environments because you have to be actively working with the rest of your team as it's a lot less dependant on your own skill.

And let me guess, you're a Xin Zhao main? :3

And let me guess, you're a Xin Zhao main? :3

Since he's release back in Pre S1, before League became an esport. (and back in the days where people thought XZ was OP, then people thought he sucked after realizing that he doesn't scale with anything other than his TTS having near infinite up-time)

    Moar troll questions:

#1 If Rito suddenly decided that a "Mega Evolution" mechanic would be added in League of Legends, which champs (in particular the very old ones) would you want to see get "megas" in order for them to become more viable in whatever level of play there is?

#2 Mid Season invitational is at the door, who do you see winning MSI and what placements?
    1st? 2nd? 3rd/4th?

    MSI Reps are:
NA - TSM, EU - Fnatic, Korea - SKT, China - Edward Gaming, Taiwan - AHQ Esports (aka Westdoor and friends), I'm not even listing down the international wildcards.

#3 If Faker played Pokemon, what pokemon do you see him using and what tiers would he be excelling at, not counting Ubers and "Anything Goes"

#4 Saw the new Lux skin? ;)

#5 Isn't it so bad that Pokemon such as Gardevoir, Meloetta, Mismagius, Roserade, Gothitelle, Lilligant, Froslass, Diancie, and yes even Slurpuff end up in the wrong side of the perverted Poke-fandom? (Yes, even Slurpuff isn't safe these days)

    What made you play LoL?

I hate asking that since I liked dota more lmao.

    Spoiler:

    So many questions!

#1: LoL is pretty well balanced right now but if I had to choose someone it'd probably be Mega Garen where his Q has a gapcloser, stun, slow, movement speed boost and increased damage. Another candidate would be Avatar Lee Sin where all of his spells are empowered.

#2: I think TSM would have a pretty good chance towards SKT so it would be something like TSM/SKT > Fnatic.

#3: Hmm, that's a hard question to answer. Maybe Aegislash because he would continuously predict his opponents? (I personally think he is beyond overrated.)

#4: Yes! I'm so excited for it just because it's based off Precure/Magical girl stuff!

#5: There's a safe side to the perverted fandom?

    What made you play LoL?

I hate asking that since I liked dota more lmao.
I only got into LoL because a friend introduced me to the game 3 years ago. I never actually played Warcraft III so I never knew about DotA (although I heard it originally started on SC:BW?).

I'm a huge VGM (Video Game Music) fanatic, and I love music in general

Spoler: I've been asking this question to almost every active AMA'er in this forum so i might as well do it too:

Say if, Pokemon Gen 7 is coming out with this hip and new soundtrack as a departure from the usual Junichi Masuna musical works, so basically Gen 7 is going to have all new musical scores on it.. what kind of soundtrack you'd want Pokemon Gen7 to have?

    A. I like my Pokemon games like how i love my music, Heavy and Metal
    B. Nobuo Uemastu-esque 90's JRPG Orchestral Crud
    C. EDM
    D. GlitchxCity
    E. Akira Yamakoa's Industrial, hard rock, dark ambient style
    F. Daisuke Ishiwatari's Hard Rock and Metal style
    G. Hiphop
    H. Noisia
    I. Hiroyuki Sawano = Kill la Kill's soundtrack

Basically this appiles before the thematic motifs are unveiled (To prevent any "it depends" answers). The only real clue is that that Gen 7 will have a departure from its old musical styles.

If some names are alien to you, a little google search helps ;)
