I agree with everyone who's saying wobby is a bloated version of FEAR tactics.
 
Sleep Clause was put into place to prevent the opponent from sleeping your whole team. If you force them to, that's your fault. That is the stupidest, cheapest, most cowardly way to beat someone and I really feel like punching you over the internet right now.

Back on topic: You can't really theorymon Wobbuffet. Someone post logs. I'd love to but I can't get on Shoddy now.
 
Oh grow up. You are the only one here taking this personally, as if he's done anything to you. He said something, that makes sense, cept it was half thought, and you gotta react like a little kid. Especially since it was obviously a joke, as Samson saw. Geez, grow up.

Anyway, there is no real way to beat Wobbuffet, other than outpredicting. And that is never a definate solution. People always say "well, I can just outpredict" as if the opponent can't.

It's basically like Dugtrio only Wobbuffet sets things up for other team members.

Wobby alone is pretty easy to beat, but in the hands of a GOOD player who KNOWS HOW TO USE IT, Wobbuffet will be a major problem.

BTW Samson, Dugtrio's success can vary a lot. sometimes I've found it incredible and other times I've hated it in all honesty. I love Dugtrio :(

But in all seriousness Wobbuffet is a pokemon that can use any pokemon without Taunt as a set-up fodder for a powerful sweeper. Like Encored Earthquake, switch to Azelf, and go go go Nasty Plot!

Wobby should be Uber.
 
It's obviously admitted in 12000 ways that Wobb is too good for OU. You can't stall it, completely status it, OHKO it effectively (unless they're too stupid to do a switch), or anything in general...

Wobb in OU will only do two things; Increase Gyarados and Tyranitars with Taunt on teams, and destroy everything else. It should be back in the Ubers.

Back on topic : Yeah, i agree wobby is over centering the metagame, lets face it, you cant "counter" a pokemon you cant switch out of.
 
Agreed Azelf; actually already reported it.

U-Turn and Baton Pass still get you out, right? If so, then the potential of seeing those moves even on random pokemon might increase.
 
Well....

U-Turn is an awful move to use on Wobby-it can still be countered, thus whichever poke switches in takes heavy damage.

You can get Encored on Baton Pass...I think.
 
I don't think so sims but I'm not sure so I'll shut up now.

Either way you can't technically counter Wobby and in the right hands you can sweep anything with Wobby support, so yeah I'm against it being OU as I'm sure you know.

Seriously, what's next? Is attack deoxys gonna be tried for standard play next?
 
I'm scared of Defenseoxys most. Damn Dark Azelf & his scary sets.
