6th Gen Wonder Trade Guilt.

only felt guilty once...
I gave up a scatter bug and got a zoroark who was the same level as every one in my party. naturally with a space open I kept him and now hes one of my bac up tem members.

Sure don't feel guilty. I give away good stuff like trade-to-evolve pokemon and version exclusives, and all I get back are Caterpies, Bunelbys, and Weedles. If anything, they should feel guilty. -.-

Amen. We give good pokemon and they give worthless pokemon.

Lol, there's something in someone's siggy about 'stopping the hate' by only trading fully evolved, starting, and version exclusive Pokèmon. And I -somewhat- agree.

I got a friend code that gave me Wartortles in the safari so I caught a ton of them and spammed the wondertrade but never got anything of decent worth back. My luck for trying to be kind! :(

careful Bidoof out
Jolly Gabite In

....seems fair.... :P

I don't feel guilty anymore. After having damn near a box full of early Pansage/sear/pour, Bunnelby, Fletchling and Pidgey for giving away neutral natured lv1 Larvesta, Larvitar, +SpDef Rapid Spin Tentacool, Stealth Rock Ferroseed, Icicle Crash Swinub and a Noivern, I don't feel bad. I was breeding Larvitar and Axew and have a bunch of dummy ones left over, so I give those out now and again. Just gave out a Technician Breloom because I bred one myself and don't need one of the parents anymore. All I ever get is Bunnelby. Ledyba. Pidgey. And I'm so generous. I just start bouncing back those dumb pokemon and I got a Chespin last night for one of them. When I start consistently getting things that at the very least aren't route one derps, I'll take into consideration what I put up.

I jst got a gible for a panpour.
Someone hit me.

I'm in the process of wondering out 5 boxes of charmanders right now. So far i have gotten 6 bunnelby, 2 scatter bugs, and a ralts.

I did get a Kadabra the other day and i was psyched, till it was holding an everstone.

I do feel guilty at some points but then I remember that I had to chain trade for 1/2 an hour to get to the decent pokemon because people are putting trash up for wonder trade. But then again I knew it would happen so not overly annoyed by it. Plus people are entitled to put whatever they want for trade and I have recieved some decent trades. I am looking forward to Pokemon Bank coming out though so instead of flooding WT with Flabebe it will be flooded with Ratata lol. It is a nifty feature though.

i have sent out several level 40+ pokemans , i just wonder traded out a zigazoon and got a mewtwo!

Don't feel bad, its their choice for gambling in a completely chanced based game. Besides, if they didn't like chance based games they wouldn't be playing Pokemon.

I've Wonder Traded out at least 200 Pokemon altogether, 95% of them being either Chespin, Fennekin, Froakie, and Eevee. The other 5% were one or two early Pokemon that I caught since I was using them to test and gauge the WT results. Most of what I've gotten back is released since I really don't have a use for more Bunnelbys, Zigzagoons, Bidoofs, Fletchlings, Pikachus.. and etc. I still like to be nice though. One of the people that managed to snag a Chespin I was WTing posted on Tumblr saying how happy they were and it made me happy. :)

I spent the majority of today WT'ing the 30 Swirlixes I bred yesterday, and I got some decent stuff in return. But usually, now, when I get a bad/unevolved Pokèmon I train them a bit until they're acceptable, reach level 20 or evolve (whichever comes first). But what really, truly made my day was when I traded a Diggersby for a Chestnaught. A. Freaking. CHESTNAUGHT. I'm still kinda wondering if that was on purpose, though...but maybe the guy felt like making someone's day.

I usually trade pokemon that I have doubles to get different kinds, but I get end up getting fletchling or other lower leveled pokemon. I only wonder trade once in awhile. I like going to the GTS.

I don't understand why all of you are upset over getting Flabebes literally everytime I run into them in the wild I catch it they are just so so so so so so cute :X

I do feel guilty sometimes, but I tend to give out Pokemon that aren't common (Flabebe or Bunnelby has never been traded off from me). I usually give out hatched charmanders and a couple of times I sent out Lampents and Litleos, but now I'm basically giving out free modest charmanders to a bunch of silly people.

So.....I think I have the most reason to feel bad after trading away some buizel's I hatched.

I actually got a Japanese (U.S here btw) Lvl. 1 Eevee....with pokerus.

I don't feel too guilty though, since all were Iv bred with 31 attack with lonely nature, but still. :C

For example, I've been breeding Eevees today for one with a good IV spread, Finally got a good one for Sylveon and decided to trade away the extras, Figuring Eevees are a rare find on Route 10 and some people may have missed them it would be a decent trade. It will also help me fill out my pokedex, Win Win.
Am I the only one who found an Eevee on his first Route 10 encounter? There was no way I was letting that thing get away.

Sadly, mine is male, but you've given me an excellent idea. I'm going to go search for a female.

I have always declined Wonder Trades, but I keep thinking I might see something that is Y-exclusive, and perhaps even a bred starter, so it might be worthwhile to have something in reserve for this purpose.

Not really. I like Wonder Trade! You never know what you are gonna get. I trade doubles or extras from breeding. If I can't get something on the GTS, I rather do this than release the Pokemon. Maybe someone else can use it, ya never know.

Some people give their Pokemon obnoxious names though. I once got a Miltank named after a porn site. :|
