Many of us are wondering about the upcoming 5th gen. pokemons. The first thing I wondered about is the new evolutions of the old pokemons(especially the rarely captured or lame ones). Here is my suggested pokemons that might have new evolutions or pre-evolutions.

    1. Lapras
    2. Eevee (there is still Rock, Ground, Ghost, Steel, Fighting, Bug?, Flying, Dragon, Poison etc.)
    3. Jynx & Mr. Mime(they might need Female counterparts)
    4. Suduwoodu(Huh?? I've just thought of it)
    5. Unowns(They might need a "leader")
    6. Luvdisc(it's so weak!)
    7. Kecleon
    8. Mawile
    9. Sableye
    10. Spinda(it's very weird looking)
    11. Tropius
    12. Rampardos(might need a Protector like Rhyperior)
    13. Combee(might need a "Drone" counterpart for Vespiqueen)
    14. Rotom
    15. Spiritomb

Secondly there must be a Dark counterpart the "Light" type that is both advantagous and is a disadvantage against Dark types.

This is only a suggestion. You can put your suggestions and comments(not HARSH!!!!!) if you like.

At first I thought Shellos would be the pre-evolution of Lapras. That ended in dissapointment.

I also think that Kangaskhan needs a pre-evolution or evolution, probably pre seeing as how it always carries the baby.

Tauros could do with an evolution too.

As for Eevee; I don't think it's a good idea to continue the evolutions. There are too many as it is.

As for the others; I can't think of any good pre-evolutions or evolutions. But Rampardos shouldn't get an evolution. I can't see it getting any better.

Absol needs an evolution. Hands down, he is one of the coolest pokemon ever.

And I agree with an evolution for Sableye, he has a lot of potential.

I don't think many Pokemon really need new evolutions. I mean, if they keep adding evos to old Pokemon, before long there'll be no more non-evolving Pokemon! And that's what I like about Pokemon like Absol and Lapras. Not to mention their last job with evos didn't turn out so good; they're strong, but 3 fourths of them look like fat clowns!

If anything, they need some pre-evos perhaps.

In my opinion I think Scyther and Pinsir should have a pre-evolution.

    1. Lapras Maybe a pre-evo...
    2. Eevee (there is still Rock, Ground, Ghost, Steel, Fighting, Bug?, Flying, Dragon, Poison etc.) No, just no.
    3. Jynx & Mr. Mime(they might need Female counterparts) Both of them can be female?
    4. Suduwoodu(Huh?? I've just thought of it) Bonsly... or if you meant evo no way!
    5. Unowns(They might need a "leader") 28 versions I dont think they will bother with an evo.
    6. Luvdisc(it's so weak!) This was a bad idea anyway but now its needs an evo...
    7. Kecleon Dont think so
    8. Mawile Totally agree with this one though, evo needed here.
    9. Sableye Pre-evo maybe.
    10. Spinda(it's very weird looking) Same as Luvdisc.
    11. Tropius I like Tropius just as it is. :D
    12. Rampardos(might need a Protector like Rhyperior) Fossil pokemon dont double evo and Rampardos is huge anyway.
    13. Combee(might need a "Drone" counterpart for Vespiqueen) I agree with this...
    14. Rotom Nope...
    15. Spiritomb Nope...

Secondly there must be a Dark counterpart the "Light" type that is both advantagous and is a disadvantage against Dark types.
I like the idea but I dont think they willd add it.

All of my opinions in bold.

    My opinions in boldface.

    1. Lapras - I couldn't see this happening :/
    2. Eevee (there is still Rock, Ground, Ghost, Steel, Fighting, Bug?, Flying, Dragon, Poison etc.) - There are already too many. I thought that Leafeon and Glaceon were mistakes as it is o_O
    3. Jynx & Mr. Mime(they might need Female counterparts) - Nah. And Jynx is already female, btw.
    4. Suduwoodu(Huh?? I've just thought of it) - Ehh... I couldn't see this happening either.
    5. Unowns(They might need a "leader") - There are a lot of fricken Unowns already, and they're pretty bad pokes to boot.
    6. Luvdisc(it's so weak!) - Probably not, since it's so... bad...
    7. Kecleon - You just couldn't with Kecleon. It's because of his ability, I guess. With an evo, how would it help him?
    8. Mawile - Totally! =D
    9. Sableye - Pre-ev, maybe?
    10. Spinda(it's very weird looking) - I like to collect Spindas with the really freaky patterns. I had on that looked like Mexico xD Anyway, I couldn't see this happen either.
    11. Tropius - I like Tropius. He's big enough and doesn't need to evolve.
    12. Rampardos(might need a Protector like Rhyperior) - But the difference between Rhydon and Rampardos is that Rampy's a fossil pokemon. Fossils don't get a third evo. Tradition, I guess? o_O
    13. Combee(might need a "Drone" counterpart for Vespiqueen - Absolutely, I agree there =)
    14. Rotom] - Ehh...
    15. Spiritomb - Nah.

Secondly there must be a Dark counterpart the "Light" type that is both advantagous and is a disadvantage against Dark types. - I agree 100% =) Perhaps we should tell Nintendo? lol, I kid

    -----------

There are just some Pokemon that just don't need to evolve, whether they're big enough physically, or decent stat-wise. They just don't need the change. Some examples are Tauros, Lapras, and Luvdisc.

Although, I do agree that Kangaskhan needs a pre-ev. The baby's just so damn cute :)

    1. Lapras No. I think it could maybe use a pre-evo, but otherwise, no. And how do you evolve that thing anyways? It's perfect as is.
    2. Eevee (there is still Rock, Ground, Ghost, Steel, Fighting, Bug?, Flying, Dragon, Poison etc.) New Eeveelutions make fun fakemons, but seven is definately enough for the real thing.
    3. Jynx & Mr. Mime(they might need Female counterparts) Jynx already is female, and I'm not sure. Nintendo would maybe do it, they'd just look... freaky...
    4. Suduwoodu(Huh?? I've just thought of it) Err... no.
    5. Unowns(They might need a "leader") Leader, perhaps. Evolution, definately not.
    6. Luvdisc(it's so weak!) I could see them doing this. But I could also see them not doing it. Luvdisk is just another weak-but-cute Pokemon, like Pachirisu and Chatot.
    7. Kecleon Just doesn't seem right.
    8. Mawile That would be kinda cool. A stronger (and hopefully not completely ugly) evolution is what Mawile needs to become more popular.
    9. Sableye No. Not even a pre-evo. Sableye is awesome just the way it is. <even if it's not too big>
    10. Spinda(it's very weird looking) Spinda's fine. It doesn't need anything. Just a fun Pokemon to catch, and a challenge to use effectively.
    11. Tropius Look at how friggin huge it is! What would you really do? A small and cute pre-evo perhaps, but not an evo!
    12. Rampardos(might need a Protector like Rhyperior) As stated before, it's a fossil, and it doesn't need the boost like Rhydon did.
    13. Combee(might need a "Drone" counterpart for Vespiqueen) I dunno. Combees kinda state how the queen is really large and in-control, but the rest of them are only strong in numbers. A colony of giant humanoid male bees doesn't seem to work as well.
    14. Rotom Why? Just why?
    15. Spiritomb Same as above.

Secondly there must be a Dark counterpart the "Light" type that is both advantagous and is a disadvantage against Dark types.

I've considered the "Light" Type too, but Psychic fills the slot good enough if you ask me. Like Cresselia being the opposite of Darkrai?

In my opinion though, Psychic is a poor replacement for light--I mean there could be dark psychics too... it's not like psychic energy has to be near synonymous with light. And how come Espeon is a Sun Pokemon anyway? Other than the Morning Sun attack, it doesn't seem that sunny to me...

Ever since G/S/C came out, I kept hoping each generation that there would be a Light-type, but there never was one so far. I see quite a few Pokemon that could be worthy of being Light-type--for example the Shinx family comes to mind.

So yes, there needs to be a Light-type!

Serpentslayer, sorry but Absol is good as it is. If it had an evo. what would it be? Double blades? Wackier face? I don't think so!

    1. Lapras
    2. Eevee (there is still Rock, Ground, Ghost, Steel, Fighting, Bug?, Flying, Dragon, Poison etc.) The Eeveelutions are confusing as is, I'm sure Nintendo would resolve that problem and stop the creating of new Eeveelutions at the Fourth Gen.
    3. Jynx & Mr. Mime(they might need Female counterparts) You mean Mr Mime might need a female counterpart, and Jynx needs a male one?
I can see a very slim possiblity of this happening, but I wouldn't be supprised if the idea never came to be.
    4. Suduwoodu(Huh?? I've just thought of it)
I'm sure that won't be happening.
    5. Unowns(They might need a "leader")
Maybe, but the chances are slim.
    6. Luvdisc(it's so weak!)
It seems to be mainly decorative so this won't be happening.
    7. Kecleon
I'd agree with this one, since it seems like a first stager, and I reckon it needs an evo to keep up with it's powerfull Pokemon counterparts.
    8. Mawile
I'd love for this one to happen but I can't imagine it happening.
    9. Sableye
I cannot imagine an evolution for this Pokemon either, it's most likely that it will be left as it is.
    10. Spinda(it's very weird looking)
    11. Tropius
    Possibly a pre-evo?
    12. Rampardos(might need a Protector like Rhyperior)
No, fossils don't have three evolutions.
    13. Combee(might need a "Drone" counterpart for Vespiqueen)
No, because I've never heard of a king bee, and Pokemon do base there Pokemon on animals.
    14. Rotom
It's a ledgendary, so it cannot evolve
    15. Spiritomb
I cannot think of it having an evolution, it's as powerfull as can be without any Weaknesses what more could you want?

Rotom isn't a legendary. It can be found in Eterna forest in a televion of an old chateau and is lv. 15 which counts it as a ordinary pokemon.

That, Azza, is a mystery. Still I have read on some sites that it is a Legendary and some that say it isn't a Legendary, I guess it's up to you to choose.

Then why does it have the Ledgendary Battle Scene Music?

Because it is one of a kind, and it makes it a dramatic moment. After all, it is really hard to find and get to it unless you know what you're doing. Think about it: What would this tiny, cute-ish thing that's not in any special location be doing amongst powerful Pokemon like Giratina, Arceus, adn even Manaphy? Even Shaymin and Phin\one seem better-fitted to be legends.

I'm sick of the whole evo/pre-evo trend. In fact, I don't even like most of the Pokémon they're inventing. I would also be angry if Lapras got some sort of pre-/evo.

I also don't think they'll introduce a Light type. I'm hoping they don't complicate things any more than they already are.

I don't really think that there needs to be any new types. They basicaly have everything covered. I do respect that some people think there needs to be a "Light" type to counter the "Dark" type (I don't agree at all), but outside of that, are there really any other types that you could think of?

The only new pre-evolution that needs to happen is Kangaskhan. For some reason, its been over-looked throughout the generations, even though it is obviously one of the best candidates for having a baby form. Heck, back in the red and blue days, everyone would tell tales about how it had a secret baby form. How could gamefreak make so many baby forms for diamond and pearl, and leave out Khangaskhan? (Do you think a Pokemon with a baby pokemon in its pouch hatching out of an egg looks anything close to correct?)

Ugh.. ><; I'm still doing good to learn all the DP Pokemon, let alone have another generation
to worry about. I mean, I'm interested in what the new Pokemon will be, but theres also very few of the newer
    Pokemon that I like.. they're all too weird. xx;
I doubt it'll happen, but it would be cool if the next gen looked more normal.

Still, I do have one comment to make about the evolutions.

    Eevee needs a Ghost-type evolution.

    I could die happy.

Couldn't be truer. Hey, what about Pachirisu? This lil' Poke hates to be overlooked.
