Wondering about the upcoming 5th gen.

Pachirisu probably couldn't do with an evo, its stats are so poor that nothing could save the little squirrel... cute... thingy. ^^

Meh. I could care less which pokemon get evos/pre evos. More to catch for me to satisfy my "thing" collecting urges. :p The last generation was probably better because most of the newer ones were completely new. Not many evos/pre-evos..

Aah, this. Lots of good examples here. Here's what I want:

Light type. Trumps Ghost and Dark, (the end of JC Pogeys Sableye and Spiritomb), halves on Psychic & Steel, weak to Dark and Fighting.

Poison should trump Bug again, and it should also trump Water. (This would present another way to KO Kingdra/Palkia. How many Palkias do you see w/ Earth Power/EQ/Psychic on Wi-Fi anyway?)

Entei and Flareon both need to learn Flare Blitz.

Eeveelutions should be able to hit every type. Thinking Dragon and Steel will be the next types.

It's going to be a long time before we get a 5th generation...but I guess it's fun to think of what they could do.

I don't want Lapras to have an evolution. That would just be weird...I dunno.

I do think a few more Eevee evolutions would be fun if Eevee could be caught in the wild (can it be caught in the wild in d/p? I haven't really played it yet). I agree with Drew. We need a ghost evolution...or dark!

Tropius totally needs a pre-evolution...I don't like most pre-ev Pokemon but I think that one could be pretty cool.

I think Absol would be weird with an evolution...I dunno...I just like it how it is.

I definentaly don't want Sudowoodo to have an evolution. I like him just the way he is!

Eevee's usefulness comes through baton pass. So far he's able to pass CMs/SDs/Curses/Wish/Acid armor/Subs and Agility. It just needs more stuff to pass. Light type isn't necessary. I agree about Entei and Flareon..and you aren't supposed to see any Palkias on wi-fi XD

Many of us are wondering about the upcoming 5th gen. pokemons. The first thing I wondered about is the new evolutions of the old pokemons(especially the rarely captured or lame ones). Here is my suggested pokemons that might have new evolutions or pre-evolutions.

1. LaprasIt needs a pre-evo but no way it'll have an evo!
2. Eevee (there is still Rock, Ground, Ghost, Steel, Fighting, Bug?, Flying, Dragon, Poison etc.)Yes, I think Eevee should get more evo's before any pokemon take over its fame, after it gets every type, maybe type combos?
3. Jynx & Mr. Mime(they might need Female counterparts)Jynx and Mr. Mime need evos, but Jynx already is Mr. M's counter part!
4. Suduwoodu(Huh?? I've just thought of it)Sudowoodo should get two evo's, a petrified tree and a normal tree
5. Unowns(They might need a "leader")They could have a leader.Maaaaybe.
6. Luvdisc(it's so weak!)Yeah, Luvdisc could get one based on a cupid arrow or something.
7. KecleonI doubt that.

I think Bellsprout line should all be able to learn lick.
The Fire type starter should be a lion.
And an Evo for Jynx and Bannette.

Unecessary? How else are going to get rid of the JCs? Besides, Foresight ain't viewed highly by meta-gamers. Besides, another poll here revealed that the majority here want some new types added, like Light for example.

I could care less about the majority :/ Sableye is laughable. It's defenses are so poor it's gonna get KOd by any strong sweeper. Spiritomb gets pummeled by any physical sweeper that can take Will-O-Wisp: Swellow, Heracross, Breloom, Infernape and Heatan even though he's not a physical sweeper >_> New types aren't necessary at all unlike Red and Blue where Psychic was invincible.
