I really hope that North Korea get somewhere in this world Cup.

Maicons goal was something else. I mean even the keeper started clapping after it. I would love if North Korea get out of that group as it would be brilliant.My house has gone crazy with North Korea fever. It was probally the best game of the tournament (except Germany)
 
I think the Brazil vs North Korea game was more of an actual football game.
The Germany game was good, but more of a display of one teams skill.

Brazil vs NK is my favourite so far.
 
I dunno, even though they lost 4-0 Aus played better than both England and USA imo. The sad thing is after Green bollocksed up our first game, I'm almost worried us about playing Slovenia soon.
 
Maicon did intend that. If he were going to cross it, he would have used the other side of his foot....

He put a spin on the ball and made it bend, it wasn't even that much of a bend...just enough to get in the goal.

This reminds of a similar goal made by a fellow Brazilian, Roberto Carlos, which was dubbed "The Impossible Goal"

Watch and be amazed. It's probably the best and hardest to execute goal I've ever seen in my whole life...But yeah here goes:
 
Well one thing I know is that each time there's France vs. Switzerland it's always tough and usually (but not always) ends up as a tie. I'm not sure how well they will play against Spain, and even though I'm sort of for Spain, I don't know if I will decide to support Swtitzerland.
 
Spain aren't doing so well with all the possession they're getting. Switzerland is hardly getting the ball. Villa's chip should've been more accurate. That's all for now..

OMFG..That was some crazy **** from Switzerland. Spain's defence was penetrated so easily.

Wow, Switzerland are up 1-0. Spain aren't playing well today. I think they're missing Torres pretty badly.
 
Well well well, this is certainly an interesting game.
I honestly couldn't see this one coming!

Spain have to score though, The favourites for the whole thing, can't be held to a loss.
 
Alonso hits the crossbar with a nice shot, but still it hits the crossbar and isn't a goal. Torres had a chance but he hit the ball to high :/. I hope it goes like this.

And that too to a team which even isn't expected to reach the last 16 lol.

Edit: Derdiyok hits the post, almost a second goal. Wow, Spain are playing very rubbish.
 
I love seeing one of the favourites to a team who I support isn't expected to reach the next round :D
 
Things don't look good for Spain. Not even 10 minutes remain. Switzerland are doing pretty good. People are holding their heads on the stands XD
There's still some time left for them to pull one back. I honestly want them to. Getting a point each would be enough. Either way, I'm not really bothered that much.
 
I was predicting a 1-0 upset but never in my wildest dreams did I believe that Switzerland could hold its own against Spain.

And there's no stigma about losing a match in the group stage. It's all about whether you make it out of there or not, which there is no reason why Spain shouldn't.

Just look at the 1998 World Cup...Brazil lost to Norway in the group stage but still made it all the way to the Final against France. France beat them 3-0 though. :D That was when Zinedine Zidane was at his prime.

I don't like Spain anyway. :D Maybe they just can't live up to the hype.
 
Ugh! So much stoppage time. Spain can score. Last minute goals happen all the time. 5 minutes of stoppage time only increases this likelihood.

EDIT: BINARY, You beat me to the post! Except for me, this much stoppage time is bad news. I'm about to make 50 bucks if the game ends like this.

And the Swiss win... yay.
