And that was the game, Switzerland won! Very surprising. It's incredible how the top favorites aren't starting off well in the World Cup lol. The only ones who managed to pwn their opponents was Germany.
 
I feel sad for spain ;__;
Oh well. Hopefully, they'll do better with their other games and qualify.
Switzerland did well defensively.
 
This has proven it, Spain bottle it at world cups. They were favourites this time and lost in their first game.

They really should have played 4-4-2 and not had Busquets.

If Spain play like this (which I hope they do because I'm the only one in my friends not supporting Spain) they won't even reach the quarters/semis, let alone winning the cup.
 
This happens in like every World Cup. The top teams look rusty at first and in the Round of 16, almost all of the matches are exciting and the teams look high caliber.

Well, thanks to the fact that Chile AND Switzerland won, Spain now has the absolute worse chance of advancing. I think they will/should, if not, that'd be a major disappointment.
 
I don't think that Spain did too bad at all. They were great, just not able to utilize all that possession and all those chances.
 
Well, one thing's for sure. No team has ever won the World Cup after having lost their first match. Ever....

And Chile-Switzerland now becomes a huge game. :S :D

What's the word for choke in Spanish? :D
 
Well, time for next set in the group stages, i wouldn't have called Switzerland winning but shows how much I know. I"ma call that Argentina wins tomorrow.
 
So, now, Uruguay - South Africa match deserves a draw, it's convenient for us, mexicans. :D

Not just because they are the host nation, it means they have to win. They are not a good team.
 
They weren't that bad on Friday. So, from what I heard of Uruguay-France, they are better than those. Therefore, they should make it out of the group if the trend continues.
 
I want Sudafrica to win as well. Home Team and they have done good so far although I think Mexico deserved to win the match. I never knew you could be offsides on a corner kick lame!
