World of Warcraft

It's not worth it if you get a private server, which is free.....

I used to play it. I have a friend who plays it, though. If I get the PW from my aunt, I can use my char and we can play together.

I have my account going but I don't play XD

I activated it with the game card so i could play with friends once, I played it for a while but it was just no fun on this computer at a 4 frames per second average =/

My computer should be here either tomorrow or Monday, so i can begin playing again then, that is, if the updates I have to download after I load the discs on take less then 24 hours. Seriously, when i installed it on this thing it took over a day because of two 12 hour giant updates.

I think it's worth the $15, It's a fun game, provided your computer isn't 11 years old.

I used to play, but drama tore the guild apart... soooooo, yeah. I sometimes get the urge to log on and do some battlegrounds, but eh, it's hard to just... spend 15 bucks to play a game for a couple days and then not touch it for the rest of the month. :/

If you have people to play with, and time to play it... I think the 15 bucks a month is well worth it.

Quit once the first exspansion came out. Yeah, once Blizzard made it more of a casual fest and stripped away the meaning of everything.

Played this game for about a year... most addicting thing I've ever done in life. No joke lol.

Meh, I only play Private Server when I actually do play. I'm spending enough money for Microsoft as it is :P

Nope, it is definitely not worth $15 a month. The community for WoW is just absolutely horrid, and that's the most important thing in an online game... try WoTMUD to see a good community.

Never saw the point in buying a game, then paying to carry on playing it.

IMO, I never liked it. I played it and just got bored of it on the free trial.

*Yawn*

Nobody likes it their first 10 days. It's a game that takes a bit of time to get used to... say, maybe 2-3 weeks. After that, the game is magnificent.

WoW was the only MMORPG I managed to play for a year before being bored.
That achievement alone makes WoW worth the 15 buck a month fee.

I heard its very addicting and I believe people because most of my friends play that game and they barely leave the house. But $15 a month is an okay fee, since I did look at some of the screenshots, saw one of my friends play it before and it looks somewhat interesting (or I could be wrong about that)

That depends on your server and which faction you pick, alliance on my realm is really nice and generous and tolerates beginners well, play horde on the same realm and everyone is an ass.

What realm are you on?

I've just started playing. A friend gave me a trial, and then I bought the game too. But I'm pretty out of money so I probably wont buy another month after this one ^^ I don't have time to play much either, not nearly enough to make it worth the money. I play mostly because the cartooney style is so addicting and cute, and it's fun to play with my sis.

I played it for about a year and a half. During that time, I was completely hooked. However, then I hit level 70 and got into a guild, etc etc. After a few minutes of raiding with these people, I realized that the whole climax of the game was boring, and went back to exploiting glitches to mess around in Alliance cities, as well as attempting to learn human. Let's just say that I got bored. Then came private servers, but those were pretty boring also. Now my account is locked up, although I sometimes still miss the game a bit. Meh.

I'd rather play pokemon, lol.

My realm is old and full of people, we don't want you there >.>.

JK, it's shadowsong, But the full thing is true, there used to be a 2 hour queue to get in because of too many people, thank you blizzard for encouraging them to change!

Our server is 3:1, favoring Alliance. I play on Horde and GOD am I so grateful for our /2. The other side is so much worse. Three times as many people > three times as much progression, but three times as many noobs.

How does a private server work? Can't be as many people there, can there?
