I have no DS, but I do have a DS Emulator, I also have HeartGold. My question is with a Emulator, and the internet, can I connect to the World Trading thing?

Well I am curious if the emulator, itself, can sense an internet connection. Or even be configured to do so, but since I don't follow emulators themselves, I don't know their limits. Might as well just poke around and give it a try, I think that is your best bet at the moment.

According to my old experience, emulators are completely unable to connect to wifi. No wireless connection of any sort is possible. The wireless is something only handled by the DS firmware. The emulator is only designed to run the game software, but it is not the exact firmware of a DS.

^I believe that is the answer as well. You may want to check about in the Emulation section as well (as that's where such questions about amulators and whatnot should go), but I believe it'll only work if you're using a card like an R4 or something like that.
