    who thinks that (if you're a spammer) it's worth creating an account and wasting good time spamming? i don't think so, cause there's plenty of better things to do. what do you think?

    *shakes his head* err... I mean. If the person have a purpose to spam, then I guess so, but to do it with no motivation is definately not worth it (but who knows what might happen other then obvious ban).

    Are you calling yourself a spammer? Because only spammers are supposed to reply. :P

    Seriously, I don't think so, considering what else they could be doing...
     
    no, i didn't mean only spammers can post, i mean, if you WERE a spammer.
     
    Err... is there a real purpose to spamming in general? Spam is just what people do to either get attention, to flame other people/boards or just something to do when bored. Normall it is because of ignorance, but there are some people who do it just for the fun of being banned, of which ther is no real purpose to it at all. So... I don't think it's worth it. :/

    Well, they may not know they are spamming. Dont say its possible- I would know because I was there before, once in a long forgotten history. But most of the time- no. Spamming is pointless.

    True, not everyone has been on forums and took them seriously before, and so won't be familiar with any standard of quality in posts yet. I've been there too, and I really didn't think it mattered but now I guess it will annoy some people. It doesn't hurt to be dispelled of a little ignorance too.
     
    Yup. But sometimes, its gets you a terrible name at some forums. Then everyone hates you, but cant hate you that much because it would be mean. XD

    Oh they can hate you a LOT a lot, but not these constructive Pokemon forums. Then again, it's on Pokemon forums that I see the spammers get treated the worst, so my first sentence is most likely false. :laugh: A terrible name is inevitable too, I guess.

    I wouldn't think negatively about a spammer myself though, because I'd probably forget the horribleness of the person's spam within a couple minutes anyway. XP
     
    Intelligent manipulation and planning is both far harder to even realize it's going on, and much more effective at dealing a crippling blow if you're really motivated to damage a forum for some reason.

    But you'd have to have a good one, and like said, that's really per person.
     
    well, i usually don't care if it's just normal spam, just text and crap, but when someone posts hentai or something, that's when i get MAD. once, on another forum though, this guy kept saying, "spam thanks to ACManga, spam thanks to ACManga" that just made me mad, and it also depends on where the spammy post is. if it's somewhere where i wouldn't go, then i don't care. but sometimes spammers are "smart" and post their spam in every thread they can find.
     
    *sighs* Just stop..... you know what you are doing..... reviving threads.... plus that is spam, what you are doing right now.
     
    I think it is stupid and a waste of time.
