Would such drastic changes make Delphox viable on OU tier? :)

Hello there people of Pokecommunity! :)

I'm sure you guy had heard about Serebii's Pokemon of the Week! It appears that the PotW's writer doesn't have much high regards to Delphox (which I'm fully understand when he highlighted the flaws) so I was revamping Delphox's stats, moves and hidden ability's effect.

These are my proposed changes to Delphox:

Tell me, would such changes finally make Delphox viable in OU matches or would it be still not enough or just simply broken and metagame-breaking? :)

I also edited your post a bit to include that image you linked though I don't get why you couldn't have just typed all that out.

Anyway, the increases to Sp.Attack and Speed, as well as the added moves would certainly make Delphox more viable. How viable, idk.

Funnily enough, I've seen some people (users Dark Azelf and srinator, I think) utilize a specially defensive Delphox with Wish. I haven't tried it for myself, nor do I know the set, but I guess it's good to know that there's a specific niche that Delphox can fulfill.

I didn't use delphox lol, I used jirachi as a fairy stoper, but yeah delphox is already great and reducing defences is bad :( why would u do that?
But yeah elf used it to stop mega voir, and it did that p well as well as clef sylv etc

I was trying to get Delphox's speed to go on par with Greninja but since I can't (or I wouldn't) put any more points other than what is available from its original total points I just took 1 more points out and get myself 24 free points total, then put 6 on special attack and the rest to speed. I could reduce the special defense down to 89 but I tried not to reduce any stats 10 more points below its original stats. Sorry!

I would rather like a more defensively oriented offensive mon lol. Not saying the new one is but I am tired of glass cannons or wannabe glass cannons lol, but interesting!

I think Delphox is already competitive in the OU metagame. Maybe not against beast such as the Smogon Frog or The Lati Twins,
but it surely does have a niche when battling w/ Magician. your just thinking the wrong way to use it.
I know a friend who uses it w/ "Focus Sash" and "Trick Room". Surprisingly, it worked on me. Lol
Theres also the "White Herb" and "Solar Beam" combo and the classic, Tricking a Choiced Item on to them, but that doesn't use its 'Magician' Ability that well.
