Is this a good way to end the Pokemon series?

Ash has been framed for a crime so serious that now all the regions are out for him. The narrator says this is a test for Ash to prove that he is the best.

No Pokemon Center (Nurse Joys and other Pokemon trainers will do their best to keep Ash out), shops (no one will sell to Ash), police stations (they're actually looking to arrest and ultimately, execute Ash) will help him because his crime is so severe.

Ash doesn't return home because he doesn't want his mom and Oak to know. However, all his Pokemon now sense he is in danger and set out in search for Ash. And I mean, ALL his Pokemon from the past. Whether with Oak or some other trainer he them left with, they will be looking for Ash.

Yes.... Primeape, Pidgeot, Butterfree, all of them..... From all regions.....

This will be a long season, so Ash will catch some more Pokemon in the wilderness, maybe even some legendaries.

Ho-Oh is the final Pokemon to join Ash, and yes, all his previous Pokemon are following him around. They have broken the 6 Pokemon in your belt/pocket rule. The series finale will consists of many episodes and a few of his Pokemon show up in each episode at a time.

One by one, they are defeated and "killed" by other trainers, gym leaders (Misty AND Brock will put a stop to Ash, too), and Pokemon league, pretty much anyone that wants Ash dead. His mom would have heard the news by now and is worried but she can't do anything because Ash is on the run.

Ash is ravaged by battles for 1 year. He gets his food from random villagers, or his pokemon plunders for him (without Ash's knowledge or consent). All of his Pokemon eventually die for him, sickness and/or battle.

All his former human allies and friends are against him and they attack relentlessly till they tire or taken out by Ash's own Pokemon.

Ash must keep running from danger while his Pokemon hold off his assailants.

Gary will be the final person to challenge Ash. Gary is so humiliated by his loss that he goes to Cinnabar island and hides there.

After the battle with Gary, Ash retreats to Mt. Silver with his only remaining six Pokemon:
Pikachu (who finally accepts its place in a Pokeball),

Blastoise and Venusaur (They battled so much that they didn't have time or choice to evolve),

    Lapras,

Snorlax (Protected Ash from many attacks),

and Charizard (Ash's number one Pokemon, the one Ash relied on most during those years in the wilderness, and the mascot of all Pokemon).

Time skip, 3 years later, Gold arrives and challenges Ash. Ash replies with
" .... ", and a battle ensues. One by one, Ash's Pokemon are defeated and killed (yes... Pikachu... killed) and the final episode ends with Charizard unleashing a the biggest "Fireblast" attack ever seen in Pokemon, and the screen turns white.

What happens after wards is left for the viewers to speculate.

    Is this a good ending?
Go ahead, show me your opinions.

No that's silly and pointlessly "dark" for darkness's sake. Goodness sake, thinking about ways to kill cartoon animals is just creepy.

That's fine if you guys think that, but you are okay with the way the Pokemon anime series is going now? You would rather it be "kiddy" than "mature"?

    The 100 Mega Shock,
If it makes you feel any better, some of Ash's Pokemon get to obliterate opposing Pokemon, as well. Remember, this is life and death for Ash, and this is what we've been waiting for, since the first episode of Pokemon, this is what it was all about. Ash becoming the greatest Pokemon trainer that ever lived. So, he has to go through this.

I stopped reading halfway into the text.

No, that's much too dark and unnecessary. Why would Ash be framed for a crime after being the innocent character looked up to by young fans for over a decade? It is completely out of character for the entire anime. Such an eerie plot will not be received well because the show's been a happy, "what did we learn today" type of thing since day one. It'd be too much of a jump.

Keep in mind that people who want the anime to be "serious" make up a very, very small portion of the fanbase. Most of the fans are children who do not think of this whatsoever, so there isn't any incentive for the writers to change anything. It may be a bit cold to say this, but the people that want such a big change don't really matter nor influence what the writers will ultimately choose to do.

Ash doesn't have to go through being framed for a crime to become the greatest trainer, either. Also, we haven't been "waiting for this since the first episode." Speaking for the entire fanbase won't really get you anywhere :x

This would be a very interesting idea for a fanfiction but not the anime.

    Um...no offense but seriously?! :P
I gotta say its not Based on a Pokemon theme. Its not our job to write scripts you know, we are just not creative enough. The intro u stated kept me dazzled. A crime?! C'mon, I only kept reading for entertaining purposes though. Anyway I must give you credits for trying..

Fine, you guys can tweak the story a bit if you want, I'd like to read your ideas for an ending. But keep the part about Ash going up to Mt. Silver to stand for 3 years. I think that part says a lot about Pokemon. It's sad and inspiring. That's why I loved the one season of Pokemon. And no, season 1 and 2 wasn't really "kiddy". They have blood, guts and stuff spilling all over the place. Scary stories like ghosts and Cubone's mother haunting things and evil scientific experiments. Remember the old Team Rocket? They were cutting up Slow poke tails to sell, and they probably eat it too. That's not for kids, these aren't kids' games. Pokemon is supposed to be full of violence and have mature subjects.

Do the kids growing up today even watch Pokemon?

Cirno, The original fans saw it back in 96, they're all grown by now; probably in their late teens and young adult years. Many are still into it.

He has too go through a series of running away from particularly everyone too prove he is great? Would seem more sensible if this was proved in regional tournaments then global tournaments. I'm not seeing how this would work even Brock and Misty turning on him not even taking the time to listen to Ash point of view on a "supposed" crime he commited?

Seems like you are generalizing the fanbase here. Most of the people I talk to about Pokemon Anime are older members of the fanbase. And what do you mean serious? Assuming you mean to this extent? Cause I have rarely heard anyone advocate for something like this. But people that want stuff more serious along the lines of the Pokemon Special I have heard sentiments of that, but not as far as too go hard core. That just alienates an entire younger audience which makes little sense to do.

Blood and guts in season 1 and 2? Any specific instances? Scary stories like Lavender Tower? Which was more comedic then scary. And most of the stuff you mention seems to be in games and manga then in the anime. I may not remember this but when in the anime did Cubone mom ever come up or TR cutting tales off Slowpoke? I don't even remember them mention about it even when they were in Azalea Town.

    Nah... ain't gonna happen =D
Not like I don't like that concept but it's just not gonna happen :D

Did I say anything about my story happening? I know it's not going to happen, but it's still an interesting perspective, and I would probably like to say more so than what the writers can make up for an ending.

As I said in my previous post, this is fanfiction material, not anime. You can write a fanfiction with these ideas if you like because it does looks quite interesting for that.

Agree, all the story needs is to be written out and given more details about Ash's crimes, what it was, his itinerary, all the high level pokemon battles he's about to get caught in, and his pokemons deaths in great detail.

It's too bad I won't be writing it cause I don't really have the time. I'll let other people take this idea and use it as their own. So, if you're some fan-fiction writer, go right ahead and use this story. But be sure to let me read it when you're done.

I don't think thats a good ending because I don't think crime will be all of a sudden be added in the ending, plus it's a bit too serious which isn't much for kids and I don't think ash will die in the anime because he's too young to die in the series.

Like I said, this thing can be tweaked around. We can find another reason why Ash is on the run.

That scenario is way too dark and frightening for a show targeted to kids. If the producers wanted to do something dark to end the series, they'd probably have Ash fall critically ill with a serious disease that degrades his health quickly and severely to the point that he does die. His traveling companions might also catch his illness. The final episode might even end in a cliffhanger.

At what point did a genuine question about others opinions turn into...

...demanding that everyone validate how you think your idea is great?

Like others have said, it tries so hard to be dark that it's a bit silly. And the only part that you can honestly try to sell to us is the part that you didn't even come up with on your own. The Mt. Silver thing was from the 2nd Gen games.

    Also:
The original fans saw it back in 96, they're all grown by now; probably in their late teens and young adult years. Many are still into it.

I think you mean 1998, and I'm one of those original viewers. After watching the show for as long as I have, I'd rather it remain faithful to the original look and feel of the show than patronize me with some BS intended to draw in people who think Maturity = Watching splatter film and wearing all black.

Sorry if that sounds harsh, but you don't seem to act like you can take "No, that idea is bad" for an answer.
