    That would be a very bad idea, considering Pokémon Contests aren't even in Kalos. Look, it was already a big mistake to have Dawn appear in Unova considering she literally had no point or business being in the region. For the record, I don't think May and Serena should meet up either, especially when, again, Contests aren't even present in Kalos. We really don't want a repeat of Best Wishes where a former lead reappeared for literally no reason whatsoever. At least when May appeared in DP, she actually HAD a reason to visit Sinnoh that directly related to her goal.

    Now, if Serena and Dawn were to meet in, I don't know, one of those Pokémon Sunday specials, that can work, since at least there, they wouldn't have to worry about Dawn interrupting her own goal for no reason whatsoever.
     
    Yes. First, I think she needs some redemption after than godawful horsesh** that was her unova appearance.

    The showcases and contests are at least similar enough to where they could make up a legitimate excuse for her being in kalos. .
     
    ...not really? It wouldn't make much sense; Dawn doesn't really have anything she can teach Serena. It made sense for Dawn and May to meet, since they were both co-ordinators, but really you might as well have Iris and Serena meet, or Misty and Serena, for all the difference it would make in terms of goals/mentorship/whatever. Contests aren't Showcases, despite the similarities.
     
    It would be ok I guess. But there is no real reason.

    Besides, Dawn has already had too much screen time compared to all the other females. Except maybe Misty, as Misty was in 2 regions and Orange Regions and came back for a few specials and a small arc. But I would much prefer Misty or May to return instead of Dawn.

    Yeah, have to agree with you regarding Misty, I'd prefer to her to return anyways. Besides, she's pretty much the only one of the girls who actually NEEDS to return, considering she actually does need to continue her WPM goal instead of being forced into the Gym. I mean, really, she's the only one of the characters who has neither been allowed to continue her goal nor was even given the luxury of actually changing her goal of her own free will (even Brock and Gary at least changed their goals of their own free will). Not to mention Misty loves French things, and Kalos is based on France.

    In any case, Misty definitely deserves a return more than May or Dawn. Only one who might deserve a return as much as Misty is Iris, and that's largely because of the whole past character obliged cameo thing.
     
    Not really cuz I don't think either girl is interesting plus Dawn all ready got her cameo in Best Wishes. So she doesn't need to come back.

    Yeah, a cameo that was utterly pointless considering Unova didn't even have contests, so she really had no real reason to visit Ash and Friends (especially when Ash doesn't interrupt his own journey just to revisit his friends).
     
    It would be nice to see her and other older characters again, but I suppose she's had her cameo already. I think Iris and/or Cilian would be more likely to get the cameo.

    I was responding to iceman, actually (and let's face it, other than Iris, Misty's the only one who actually has a point in making a cameo in Kalos. It has nothing to do with my being a fan of her: Even if I hated her guts immensely, I still would have said Misty's more likely to have an appearance regardless.).

    And for the record, I could have easily cited Iris even though the past made Iris a predictable choice (after all, each series starting with AG had the main girl's immediate predecessor make a guest appearance in the new series). May and Dawn already had their guest appearances, and besides which, what would be their point in even being in Kalos? At least with May's DP guest appearance, it directly related to Pokémon Contests and her goal. And for the record, I'll say it again, Dawn's guest appearance in Unova was utterly pointless considering Unova doesn't even have contests, so she really serves little point in being there (May at least had the Wallace cup and the ribbon being transregional as a reason for her appearing in Sinnoh). Does Ash even bother interrupting his goal in the middle of a region just to visit his own friends back at Kanto? NO! If he did, he would have done it beforehand.
     
    If this did happen.. I would like to see Serena hit on Ash and make her jealous and stuff.. I would also like to see May make an appearance.
     
    Just like to point out, they could pull a wallace cup scenario again.
     
    I wouldn't be against it, but I don' really see why they'd do it. It doesn't have anything to do with the storyline, unless as said they have Dawn hit on Ash as another way to make Serena jealous. But, this is Pokémon. Can't see it happening.

    True, except they are, just one has battles. But they could do a tournament, which she could join since dawn usually doesn't mind battling.

    The only way Dawn actually would have a reason to reappear is if Ash and Serena go to either Johto or Kanto, since she's done with Hoenn by now, and Kanto and Johto are both confirmed to have Pokémon Contests.

    I don't think she went to hoenn. But right now literally every character ash traveled with are in johto. It's the place to be. And perhaps kalos could get a contest exhibition to showcase similarities possibly? That be interesting.
     
    Dawn is my favorite female protagonist to appear in the series to date, followed by Misty and my least favorite being Iris. I don't care much for Serena, but seeing them interact would be interesting.

    She actually DID go to Hoenn. Heck, her Pokémon Sunday special even made it explicit that she went there.
