Would you name a pet after a pokemon? Have you?

If I ever do, it might be a little white kitty named Meowth or Little Miss. Lol. That's about the closest they are coming to being named after Pokemon. XD

Do trainers count? I have a chinchilla named Phoebe. I wanted to name it Gengar, but I decided that Phoebe is more ambiguous.

I think only with a small pet like a mouse or a fish, and probably not publicly, lol.

I'm not ruling it out, but I haven't yet. If a pet comes along in the future and resembles a Pokemon then bring on the Pokemon name!

I have thought of the idea, and I could use Pokemon names or shortened version or modified version of Pokemon names on pets too.
Any animal could have any Pokemon name. A cat named Chu sound cute, lol.

God, be my witness: if I ever get a pet, I'll call it Mudkip. Whether it be a dog or a cat. If it's a fish, though, I'll call it Jiglypuff. :3

IF IT'S A TURTLE I'LL CALL IT BLASTOISE. YES.

And glue paper canons on its shell.

Somebody I know has two cats called Pikachu and Eevee. I personally wouldn't name my pet after a Pokémon. I think cats and hamsters can get away with it but dogs? I don't think so.

Well, if I ever get a new pet, I'm definitely naming it after a Pokemon! I never even though about that before... And I won't care if other people find out xD

If I get a rodent of some sort, I'm naming it Bidoof. There's not doubt in that.

Well, back in generation one I nicknamed a Growlithe I got Growlie, and I named a dog I got about a year later after it, so I suppose I have.

I did!! We got a dog from the pound and I wanted a hairy one to bows in it's hair to name it jirachi, but ended up getting another one, I named her Haley Mew, we call her Haley, and some times Mew and some times Mewie!!

If I ever get new pets, I may name them after pokemon's names..
Not totally sure, though...
