Would you rather succeed in something you hate, or fail in something you love?

Couldn't help but think of school subjects when I read this, so you'll have to put up with me being simplistic.

I hate technical graphics.

I love English.

If I succeeded in a test for technical graphics, I'd feel a massive sense of relief and everyone would be like, 'how did he do that?'

If I failed English, everyone would laugh at me and my parents/teacher would be utterly disappointed. I'd be doubting everything I'd write in the coming months, wondering if it's enough.

So yeah, I'd much rather succeed in something I hate.
