How do we know that Volcanion has been in Johto and Sinnoh?

If you bring a volcanion to the tv producer in mauville in ORAS, he will tell you how they had a tv crew track it for years, and in doing so they learned a lot about it. The episodes were never made publiic but he gives you the dialog from them. In it, they say they tracked it down several times.

Once to a remote island in Johto

Another to the forests of Shinnoh

and then to the mountains of Kalos.

I posted a video by Tyranitartube where he also posted some theories on volcanion, with the most interesting being how it's pokedex data that they tell you matches the terrain of Johto, Shinnoh, and Kalos.

It mentions how he can unleash steam to create unbearable fog, which he thought was connected to the fog in Shinnoh

It also mentions how he leveled mountains, which could make sense as Johto and Kalos are very mountainous, so maybe volcanion leveled certain parts of the regions at different time periods, and thus civilization could grow?

They announced 20th anniversary events and merchandise on exactly January 12th, Masuda's birthday. That can't be a coincidence. That proves Masuda likes dates. Also explains why they didn't announce Z on the 8th when that would be the perfect date.

Just got posted. And those rumors I posted about earlier were proven false. All it says is that Volcanion hates humans, lol. It's not like he's been the only Legendary Pokemon to have a beef with humans...

Affecting our world (as in the announcement next month will leave the entire world in sho ck).

So this pretty much confirms the next Pokemon game to be revealed next month. Can't see what else there is that could be ao super-duper amazingly special.

Well as I said before it's a good thing that we got Volcanion out of the way already. A poster is in line with past movies so the poster is likely movie related but might include new formes/megas too as the February poster during 2012 featured the three Kyurems. The other is likely new game related or a major hint. I don't think it'll be a spin off unless if it's a revival of Stadium, a remake of the Orre games, a sequel to said games.

Edit: Joe says that corocoro never reveals a new main game. I wonder if he meant first to reveal a game (because other events beat it) or what...

Edit II: Serebii and Pokejungle say it's movie related. Which makes sense as the posters are usually movie related. New game could be announced soon after though like on the 27th. B2W2 were revealed on the 26th a day after the Kyurem and Keldeo poster leaked.

well, you can't really blame them.
mewtwo was created to be used & exploited by team rocket(anime & manga) and was the child of a mew genetically altered(games) then there was that other mewtwo in the anime that was also created by humans, though no one knows who made "her"
arceus thought he was betrayed by a human he trusted(anime)
the swords of justice watched a forest get burned down by a human war(games)
genesect was revived & turned into a cyborg(though only the 5 in the anime seem to hate humans)
the rest of them don't seem to have a beef with humans in general, but there are some that don't trust humans such as the mew that appeared before Jessie's mom miyamoto in the middle of a blizzard(stopping the blizzard as it appeared), who begged it let itself be captured only for it to fly off & return the blizzard.(birth of mewtwo radio drama)

i doubt either will occur.
we already got mega evolution, primal reversion and ashgreninja(which looks a hell of a lot like burst digivolution and functions like matrix digivolution)
its like nintendo & game freak are taking bits & pieces from digimon anime's & attempting to make them their own but failing to see how short of the mark they are til it's to late

The last game they exclusively announced was almost 9 years ago, and pokemon Platinum. After that, everygame was slightly teased for like 5 seconds by the Pokemon company or something else, and Corocoro would be the first to have major info and screenshots on it.

Because of this I'm still calling Pokemon Z next month, based on the theory I posted yesterday, which to me now has some credence.

I also predicted( on smashboards, don't know if I did here), that Corocoro would tease us with a major announcement. This next part I'm pasting over from smashboards as well:

There is definitely something big being planned for him. I don't know what yet, but I think it will tie back to Z. It could go with my theory yesterday that all mythical pokemon could be big factors in Z, hence why they are re releasing them.

Anyway I think we are most definitely getting Z next month based on this, and all the marketing adding up to a February announcement.

The marketing adds up, this scoop adds up, it all makes a lot of sense.

I see Z being announced in A direct before the 15th next month. This is because there is usually a new year direct for Nintendo in January. They will either show Z's logo, or go all out in announcing it with footage and more. Corooro will follow this up

Either way, we are going to get swamped for the entire month of February. When they said the 20th anniversary would be a big thing, they weren't kidding around. If the "world changing" announcement isn't the game announcement itself, I just about bet that it will likely be related to it somehow. February and even March look pretty prime for the game to be announced.

With there being a commercial during the Super Bowl, we could have a hint to Pokemon Z. Just a small bit though. And then we get more news in Corocoro. which comes a week after the Super Bowl.

I don't see Pokemon Z coming out after the movie. Just don't think it would link very well. So I am thinking Spring or early Summer.

I have said and many times before. I think there will be 2 regions, if not more in Pokemon Z. And I am thinking it could be Unova with both being linked together in many conflicts. It doesn't have to be Unova, but it would make the most sense with France and America (Kalos and Unova) being linked. This would also explain why it is taking so long for them to bring the game out, because they have to make everything 3D that is in the game.

We also still have that region that isn't any other region, which might be a minor region known as the Lapidarian Highlands which is very mountainous and they emphasized it in the anime. Looking at the anime, it is very mountainous, forest and has a lot of water, and a lot of fog. This all could be linked to Volcanion.

And as for the super bowl commercial, those cost millions. Off the top of my head you almost never see a video game commercial there. The fact that they paid for a time slot, means they are advertising something big.

My guess is it will go something like:
" It's been 20 years of Pokemon! ( cue brief flashback of the last 20 years) This year we aim to go higher then ever before! We want to bring in players both old and new! Here are some titles we have planned:
Cue footage of Pokken, Go, and Pokemon Z. We hope you stay up to date with these and look forward to many more years with pokemon!"

I am also thinking that they'll just show a quick clip. I actually expect 'Z' to have a blink and you miss it moment...
About the movie, the game could still come out after the movie. Actually all the third versions from Crystal up to Platinum came out after the movie depicting their mascots. B2W2 did come before, but they aren't third version so they might not even be an exception.

I think that Kalos and Unova are allies but perhaps they did have a small war. The US and France did have a Quasi-war fought at sea called the XYZ affair (cough Pokemon XY&Z anyone?).

I think it'll be a commercial similar to the "Train on" one that just came out, but as I just said it'll have some Z clips thrown in that will be easy to miss...

Just some food for thought, but Marvel and other well-known properties are pretty famous for showing off new movie trailers during the Super Bowl halftime. Pokemon is a pretty big phenomenon that's now 20 years old and still going strong, so I don't think that a teaser of sorts for "Z" for the commercial is a bad idea. The commercial is suppose to "encourage fans to train on", and that sounds like something more closely associated with the purpose of the main series games, and now GO.
