Blue Zygarde core? Seems Bulbapedia is getting lazy

What if we get 2 Pokemon Z games each named after Blue and Red Cores and Zygarde Perfect would require to trade between each versions to get the other core.
Pokemon Blue Z and Red Z? Pokemon Sapphire Z and Ruby Z? Pokemon Diamond Z and Pearl Z? Pokemon White Z and Black Z? (Dialga has blue, and Palkia pink, Zekrom has blue and Reshiram red). Or XZ and YZ xD.

I think it'll be one though... maybe with two routes and I thought a prequel would've gone.

I think that perhaps the cores have a little of Xerneas and Yvetal's powers. I think that Red core Zygarde absorbs energy as in the anime Red core Zygarde seemed to have drained Chespie of it's energy, causing it to glow similar to when overgrowth is activated in the grass starters that have used their ability previously in the anime. I think that Blue core Zygarde then likely has the opposite. In other words Perfect Zygarde would have control over both life and death.

I was kind of thinking the same thing. There was also a theory I had seen on Serebii's forums about how there are 5 different colored glowing hexagons inside of Complete Zygarde's "mouth" when it's opened. They had suggested that there may be 5 Cores in total, and that each of the main character Trainers would get one: Calem, Serena, Shauna, Trevor, and Tierno. I like that theory in that it would give all 5 characters some much-needed character development that was lacking in X/Y.

Also, there's something interesting that I noticed about the Nintendo Direct. The date for America's Direct is 11/12 at 2 p.m., while Europe's Direct posted by NintendoUK is 12/11 at 10 p.m. I'm confused... did the dates get switched around by accident? Is America and Europe getting separate Directs?

Am I the only one who wonders if Pokemon Z will have new Pokemon in it?
X/Y released a measly 69 new Pokemon. We've never, ever had a generation with that few Pokemon introduced. Then later we got Diancie, Hoopa and Volcanion.
Weren't most people expecting Z to be released around now?
Perhaps the reason they're holding off is because they're going to give us many new Pokemon to satisfy us for another year or so before releasing gen 7.
It is very likely that this isn't true, and the reason there were only 72 new Pokemon this generation is because we also got 48 mega evolutions, which, if included in the total Pokemon released this gen is 120.

It's because of the difference in how dates are written, they mean the same thing

It's because in everywhere else in the word, date is written as dd/mm/yyyy. I'm actually surprised you did not know this :/

Anyway, your theory sounds really cool and makes the whole Zygarde lore even more interesting. I'm still trying to figure out how you can get 10%, 50% and Perfect formes of Zygarde in the upcoming games.

I think there may be 10 with each core having the ability to absorb 10 cells to allow to transform into Zydog. 50 percent could be the result of five cores with 10 cells fusing and Perfect Zygarde fusing both 50%.

They have to blow our minds with the next game cause people are losing interest .

Many of my friends already gave up on the series :(
My brother's been an avid fan of Pokemon about as long as I have but he just jumped ship this gen. Mega Evolution was just too much for him, and he's not that big a fan of the new Pokemon or region (or remakes of R/S/E.) I'm only into Gen 6 because I was just curious enough to try Y, and even then I just waited until I could find it cheap on Ebay. If they make a sequel or 3rd version and don't fix all the numerous problems with X and Y like Kalos being way too small and there being a very stale story with next to no post game content, I might forgo it.

Unlike your brother, I like gen 6 ALOT. but GF is really pushing it, all the news we get are events related ( that most of them goes to Jap fans) or side games / spin-offs, like PMD. Not to mention all the hints we get in the anime about the new game being a noraml 3rd version instead of a prequal/sequal ( Team Flair wasn't changing, GYM leaders, Zygarde having only one final form etc).

I dunno what I'll do if it's another 3rd version. I mean sure the ones we've gotten have been really awesome, adding new things and making an already good game even better, but a third version for X and Y.... Those two games were so noticeably rushed and have so many flaws that a third version seems a bit more like a quick fix than an enhancement. Plus we got sequels last gen, so a third version sorta seems cheap in comparison. I guess if it's like Platinum and it's really freaking awesome I'll buy it, but, if not then... eh.

I wonder if it'll have Xerneas and Yvetal fight. In Pokémon Special XY they're about to introduce the "Z" aka Zygarde possibly to stop the constant fighting between the two. It'll make 'Z' like Emerald if they go with that. Interestingly at least one game in every gen features both members of the pair games. GSC all had Ho-oh and Lugia to capture, Emerald had Groudon and Kyogre go at it and available post game, Platinum had Cyrus summon both Dialga and Palkia and were also available post game for capture, BW while not having both members be caught it did have the Reshiramand Zekrom fight. If they go third version route I can see both appear, either fighting like G and K or being in Lysander's hands like D and P were in Cyrus', perhaps with victory at hand only for it to be halted by Zygarde. Could be both... Lysander could call them forth like Cyrus, yet lose control like Maxie and Archie and see the error in his ways as they fight it out. Zygarde will then restore the balance like Rayquaza and Giratina.

Hiya! hm, as I mentioned this to someone before, it's already 2 years since X and Y came out worldwide.. and seeing as it is my first Pokémon games to ever played, I would like share my full thoughts on the 6th Generation so far. Note that this WILL be long, so if you don't like stories that are lengthy, I suggest you stay out of this. Back then, I REALLY wasn't interested in Pokémon. All I can notice from that franchise were Pikachu, and the overrated starter, Charizard, but I don't really care about the others. When I heard that X and Y were almost coming out, I saw the trailers for them, and immediately became interested in it. I was truly admired by the 3-D atmosphere Pokémon has finally began to do in main games (Not talking about side games, like Coliseum, etc) And I remembered that when Mega Evolutions first came around, people keep thinking this is a ripoff of Digimon...
When you strip Mega Evolution down to its utmost basic concept - a temporary cosmetic power up that increases/grants new powers - a great deal of anime/manga (especially those of the shonen variety) make use of this core idea.
Sailor Moon's Sailor Senshi don their sailor uniforms to fight. Dragonball's various levels of super saiyan mode. InuYasha's Tetsuiga sword. Bleach's shinigami use their shikai/bankai. FMA's homunculus Greed, his Ultimate Shield. Magi's Djinn equips. Naruto's sage mode. Fairy Tail's Erza Scarlet's armour.
Plenty of series use this idea. Why are people so fixated on Digimon? It wasn't the first to make use of it.
When I first started playing the game, I really enjoyed the environment of this game.. the cities and towns, I can remember about most of them at the top of my head. The music... is simply fantastic. Some of the music from X and Y sound like they don't belong in Pokémon at all, such as Anistar city, Shalour City, Route 15, Geosenge City, Coumarine City, and the most notable one in ORAS, Zinnia's theme. The battles really felt alive, moreso than the sprites from Gen 5-1st. I feel more comfortable in playing in a 3-D environmental area than the past main games. The character customization was an AWESOME feature. It feels like I'm actually playing as myself.
When OR/AS was announced, I was pretty excited for it, since I NEVER played any 3rd Gen game before, and started playing through Sapphire to get a feel of it. And I liked the new Megas that were coming. I was kinda tired of XY seeing as how barren it's post-game content was, and hoping OR/AS were bringing something new to the table.. It quite did.. I was surprised by how much Hoenn has changed, (well, thanks to the theory from ZInnia that this Hoenn is in alternate universe that HAS Megas, and the old Hoenn is the one without Megas) Soaring was a nice feature, and the Delta Episode was really great, but other than that, there seems to be other Post-game content to do other than catching the legendaries, and still, the Battle Maison returns...
As I look at past Gens, I really can't understand why 5th Gen was so hated by many...? 5th Gen has one of the BEST storylines out of all in a main series game, the graphics were nice, and the Pokémon still felt like Pokémon. What, nostalgia's getting in your way you want to decide on what Pokémon looks like? Far chance at that... This is 2015.. CHANGE IS EXPECTED, and if people can't accept change, then maybe they shouldn't play the new ones.. and what about Klefli, huh? Hate that it's an object-based Pokemon? Klefki is from the lore that faries steal shiny objects. Klefki is based on a keychain and the Pagan tradition of blaming fairies for the loss of small objects, like shoes and keys. It's name is literally key-kleptomaniac. And "Clef" is the French word for keys. It's actually incredibly clever.
While I do agree with it being super easy compared to other games thanks to the Exp.Share, that doesn't take away my fondness of 6th Gen that much, I still have hope the next games will prove to be SO MUCH BETTER than X/Y and ORAS.I like the theme of "Life and Death" and the legendaries are a perfect example of this. they carried it on with Groudon and Kyogre, and how their Primal forms and new abilities worked out. I like how the main legendaries in X and Y are represented as, finally have unique abilities which aren't cool-sounding names for Mold Breaker, and the generic "Pressure".
The champion, Diantha, is one I like. In my opinion, her theme is the best I've heard, as it matches up her personality quite well, positive and happy, and more fairy-like too. Yes, I wish they could develop her more as a character in the next games, and make her a bit difficult, but I still like her. Cynthia has a very nice design, I'll give it that, but it's like she's very overrated because she's so hard, and with her she had more development in her involvement in the 4th Gen games.
I haven't been paying attention to the anime since the original, but I have to say that the XY series is a really BIG step-up compared to the B/W, D/P, etc series. People keep hating on Ash just because how generic and childish he is. But in reality, they don't seem to realize that he has advanced and progressed greatly during the older times, and his Frogadier is the best example of this. I can see that "XY and Z" will take on a more serious approach with the characters and an "ominous mood" will develop. I have a feeling the new series will be the BEST EVER, and the Mega Evolution acts are only making it better.
While Megas were new that drastically changed the Metagame, people complain this Gen is ABSOLUTELY broken because of them. I don't think Gamefreak cares about balance.. while yes, I appreciated there are Pokémon who benefited with a Mega that made them stand out and well-liked, like Mawile, Beedril, Pidgeot, Pinsir, Banette, Medicham, Aggron, Steelix, etc there are some that completely overpowers the majority of them, such as Kangaskhan, Salamence, Metagross, Garchomp and Tyranitar(Those two were unnecessary) and most of all, Rayquaza (Mostly for it's lore) Some of them were really unnecessary of getting a Mega, Well, people still use normal Garchomp over the mega, normal Tyranitar more than the Mega, normal Alakazam over the Mega, and even the normal Latis than their Megas. This is where my real problem stands with X and Y about the fanservice:
X and Y were really catering to the fans of Gen 1, or "Genwunners", due to the special anime,"Pokémon Origins", the fact that Santalune forest acts EXACTLY like Virdian Forest in Kanto, the Snorlax on the bridge in Route 7, during X and Y, Kanto Pokémon had the MOST Megas than others, Charizard and Mewtwo had 2 Megas due to how popular they are within the fans, and the fact you can get either of the Legendary birds depending on your starter and can get Mewtwo enforces this. And now in ORAS, Hoenn Pokémon were the most out of all to get Megas, second would be Kanto.
I feel like it's time for them to stop catering to the older games with the Megas and focus more on KALOS. Strangely, there is only the 1st Gen and 3rd Gen starters to get Megas... why won't the 2nd, 4th, 5th, and most importantly, 6th Gen starters get any Megas?, considering Mega Evolution was introduced IN 6th Gen. There was one 5th and 6th Gen pokemon that has gotten a Mega, Audino and Diancie. I feel like there HAS to be more Unova and Kalos Pokémon to receive a Mega more than anywhere else.

For X and Y, GF worked so incredibly hard and long on stepping up the presentation that they just didn't have the time or resources to flesh it out more.Really, they had to design, texture and animate over 700 different 3D models from the ground up just to make battles happen. I feel like in the next games, possibly more new pokemon would most likely appear in the Southern side of Kalos, why, you may ask?
There are several things that point out to a possible Southern Kalos. One, in Kilude City, it mentions "This city, popular with Pokémon Trainers, is a typical example of southern Kalosian life." There has to be more to this in Sothern Kalos than in Kiloude. Another one is when in XY, you bring Volcanion to the Lumoise press, in the "A nation-building" topic you selected, she mentions "In the southern part of the Kalos region, there seems to be a custom to revere Volcanion as a nation-building Pokémon. People seem to believe that a steam explosion caused by Volcanion created the plain where they live. As a matter of fact, a huge mountain range suddenly disappeared due to an unexplained explosion in that part of the region in the past". You don't find this anywhere in the current Kalos region(Which is based on the Northern part of France), not even in Kiloude City.
Another point brought out is remember the Merchandise sheets they had? One, was a picture of the Kanto starters and Pikachu sleeping, and on the right, a mystery bubble in a purple-pink circle. Who can this be? Normally, they just hide things with ??? or "Pokémon A", but this time they're outright saying "新ポケモン!?" which means "New Pokémon". It can't be a Pokémon we already know.. Another sheet is a picture of a tall mystery circle which measures up to 28cm. It lists "a brand new Pokémon as a huge plush in December!"
And another one.. see the train rail in Couriway Town that nobody knows where that leads up too? Could this be a possible hint? In real life, The south area that makes up what the French refer to as "le Midi", is generally speaking the most popular tourist region in France, and needs little introduction. It consists of the French Mediterranean coastline and its hinterland, from the Italian to the Spanish borders, and is made up of two French regions, PACA or Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur to the east of the Rhone, and Languedoc Roussillon to the west of the Rhone.

And also, as for the news on Zygarde.. I REALLY like it. I LOVE to speculate on Zygarde since I first saw it and it's new forms were really interesting to me.
It's name is a Portmanteau of Zygote and Garde(French for guard)

A Zygote is the most basic developmental stage in multi cellular organisms, containing all the genetic information to create a new individual.During the development process, the organism copies itself through mitosis, and eventually all these copies fuse together to create the new individual, it's kind of the reoccurring theme of biology, since in the Japanese X and Y titles, it has a rainbow DNA-like symbol in it, which is Mega-Evolution. In single celled organisms however, they divide asexually through Mitosis. If you look at the animation of Thousand Waves, I'd say that represents the sole concept of the Zygote. Zygarde seems like it's splitting itself into all these little hexagons, and then they all form together to not create a new being, but a big wave.
It guards the ecosystem and hides by splitting into cells that can rejoin.

I'm still curious as to how Zygarde works in the anime, and possilbly be connected to Mega Evolution. Now in the anime, there are (currently)3 Zygardes: The red core Bonnie has, the 50% form that escaped from Team Flare, and now.. this blue core. I'm still convinced there are 5 cores, since the 50% form MUST have a core in it somewhere. That form can't be made up of only 50% of the cells. The cells NEED a core in order to functon properly, without the core, the cells can't do anything by themselves.I believe this one has the white core, looking at it's right eye. And how else are the colored hexagons in it's chest-mouth formed? After seeing TyranitarTube's theory on how Zygarde was involved with the Kalos War with AZ, and in the "XY and Z" anime poster, the Anistar Sundial is displayed in front of Perfect Zygarde, even after Ash and his friends left Anistar City in the anime. It could be that Zygarde is connected with the sundial somehow. And in the part of the first episode where Zygarde 10% formed, you see a rainbow-like trail.. could it be similar to the colored symbol of Mega evolution? When the war started 3,000 years ago, there's no doubt Zygarde had to take involved in that war. That was REALLY when the ecosystem was in great peril.. And some quotes from Professor Sycamore explaining on what the Sundial may came from,"The Mega Ring works in a similar way to how this object over here works. It's an object that changes sunlight into a mysterious light. For one hour starting at 8 pm, this sundial starts emitting light. This mysterious object has towered over the city here for over 3,000 years. It's relationship to the Mega Ring isn't understood at all yet
And after touching it, he mentions:"You were exposed to the Legendary Pokemon's energy in Team Flare's secret HQ.And the Mega Ring has absorbed the power of the sundial. These two powers have combined to upgrade your Mega Ring. Now, it will react to underground Mega Stones, but only when the sundial is emitting light. I'm sure these stones hide in every corner of Kalos! Use this power to find them!"

And how about the Mega stones? According to Sycamore, Mega Stones are the results of regular evolutionary stones being irradiated by the power of Xerneas and/or Yveltal fired from the ultimate weapon. But in OR/AS, Mega Stones are also periodically created from meteorites that fall down from the sky in a form of green light. Something tells me that the weapon AZ lauched 3,000 years ago in the war somehow caused this object to exist in Anistar city, as it's mentioned in the anime that it supposedly originated from outer space, and is reported to have connections to Mega Evolution.

In Anistar City, when you talk to the guy that talks about the history of the X and Y legendaries, in Y version, he mentions this: "Another tale talks of the appearance of just such a terrifying Pokemon. Back 3,000 years ago, the Kalos region was engulfed in a terrible war. According to the stories, a Pokemon appeared and stole the life force of countless living beings. Some people suspect the Pokemon that appeared was Yveltal, but there's no way to know. Maybe they're just using a legendary Pokemon as a metaphor for war and pestilence." In X version, he says: "There's another story I know that talks of the appearance of just such a fortuitous Pokémon. Back 3000 years ago, the Kalos region was engulfed in a terrible war. So the tale goes, a Pokémon came to the rescue of all the wounded Pokémon that had been caught up in the conflict. Some people suspect the Pokémon that appeared was Xerneas, but there's no way to know. Maybe they just wished a legendary Pokémon had come to the rescue to brighten a tale of woe." So is there really a Pokemon that did this? Well, could it be Complete (Perfect) Zygarde?
...so really, I see this as two ways. Either there are really 5 cores, or.. just two cores, and the chest-plate's hexagons are the source of Mega Evolution. Also, for the perfect forme's BST, I believe it would be at least 720. I say 720 since it's the sum total of the angles in any hexagon, which is the main attribute about Zygarde. Man, speculating on Zygarde is really fun for me to do..
And another good theory is that since in Act 4, the Chespin was sick due to the influence of the red core's power in the lab, as if it was drained of it's energy and the ability "overgrow" developed. And the blue core could be the opposite.

Also, Metropolitan France has a vaguely hexagonal shape, calling it "L'hexagone. The expression Hexagone is frequently used to designate the French territory or, by extension, the country itself. And since Kalos is based off from France, this is very ideal for Zygarde to also represent it's region. And this is probably why what if, in the Kalos symbol, the pentagon (Which those colors represent the flag of France) became more developed with the idea of a possible Southern Kalos and added two more colors: Orange and Cyan, to give an emphasis on where the five cores are located and you have to find them all, maybe the symbol could become a hexagon which coincide with the "L'hexagone" motif of france?

And one thing I've wanted to bring out on something on Perfect Zygarde's knees. I've seen people complain it's knees look like dicks, that doesn't stop me from liking it. It doesn't stop people who like Palkia, whose head looks Phallic, with the two pearls on it's shoulders. Didn't stop people from liking Reshiram, who has a fur "crotch", and as well as Hoopa Unbound. If you really look at it a bit further other than just looking like a dick, in a way, it symbolizes the Fleur-de-lis symbol used in France, just the hexagon-shaped way. It has been used in French royalty and is said to signify perfection, light, and life. Besides, does it seem like GF wants to put sexual references in these designs for no reason... really?

And since the Complete Zygarde's type is still Dragon/Ground, it gives an insight to the person, wondering how is it still going to beat Xerneas and Yveltal if Fairy dominates Dragon, and ground don't affect flying. Well, that's what Thousand arrows and waves exist for. And it's ability could be something we didn't expect at all..

MAYBE. just MAYBE it's ability could be some kind of terrain ability that acts as an unaware ability that renders opponent's stat boosts useless. Also resists fairy attacks OR straight out be immune to them. maybe lets ground types get a boost in special defense by 50% like how Sand steam does for Rock types.and perhaps where the user is immune to dark types, status moves (like toxic, will-o-wisp) fail against the user, (I would suppose those harm the environment by burning trees, toxic fumes from factories into the forest) when you use Thousand arrows on Yveltal, those affects could probably take place, and when it tries to heal itself by using Oblivion Wing, it can't) or it could act as a "Solid Rock"

And I've seen a possible "inverse ability" could work on Perfect Zygarde, as it would be able to hit both Xerneas and Yveltal super-effectively with it's STAB types. But I see two problems with this. First, it would make Thousand arrows redundant as Thousand waves not only have the ability of trapping the opponent, but with the "Inverse ability", it could get Flying types for super effective damage. I believe Perfect Zygarde will know both of these moves seeing as how in the animation, it requires many cells to perform the moves, and Land's wrath for the 50% forme doesn't have any hexagons in it. And 2: While Zygarde resists Fairy under Inverse, then it doesn't resist dark types. It should be important as that type is Yveltal's main type. Heck, will Zygarde be able to resist Flying as well, since Rayqaza resists both Primal Kyogre and Groudon? Only time will tell if we get to know more on this..

While we all are waiting for the new anime series to come, as well as a potential game announcement soon, I felt it was nice speculating on Mega evolutions, and who might get it. Since Perfect Zygarde seems to represent it's own region due to it's royal appearance by it's crown-head, and the tons of Hexagons on it's body embodies the "L'hexagone" concept, AND the discussion of "flowers" being brought up, and once again, "Kalos" comes from the Greek word κάλλος, meaning beauty, I think that Pokémon associated with beauty, royalty, or flowers have a great chance of getting Megas. A perfect example to this are Slowing and Milotic. Slowking embodies royalty in it's concept, and Milotic embodies beauty with it's concept. And the fact that their counter-parts, Slowbro and Gyarados, have megas, this really makes both of them more likely to get megas. I feel like 5th Gen and 6th Gen pokemon should get more Megas(most notably, 6th Gen) because GF was really catering to the classic players during X and Y. 1st Gen had more Megas than the rest, but then now, 3rd Gen has the most Megas. It is strange seeing Audino being the only 5th Gen mon to receive a Mega, followed by Diancie in 6th Gen. And their designs look really.. beautiful, and Mega Diancie has royalty in the design, looking like a Princess. Two other Pokémon I think that would most likely receive a Mega would be Butterfree and Frosslass, since their counter-parts, Beedrill and Glalie has gotten one. About the starters.. because of "Ash-Greninja" becoming a thing in the Anime, I hope it doesn't negate the Kalos starters from potentially having a Mega, or what if this concept appllied to the Kalos starters as well? I really want the other starters, Chesnaught and Delphox, get a chance to shine. Personally, I really like Chesnaught, even though Greninja is my fav starter. There's so much they can do with it, and make them stand out instead of Greninja being "The Charizard of 6th Gen."
Other starters such as Serperior, Empoleon, Infernape, and Megaium have good chances of having a Mega due to their concept, which goes in with Kalos. But I don't know if every other starter will get a Mega, so we'll have to see. I do see some grass types having a chance, such as Lilligant, for having a crown-like appendage and looks like it has a dress, and Roserade, since it has a bouquet of roses.

I think it'd be neat if they shook up how mascot legendaries work in this game with Zygarde's new forms. Since Zygarde has weaker forms, you could obtain it earlier in the game and upgrade its form throughout the story. Say, maybe you meet 10% around the 3rd gym or so and it joins your team. Then when you reach Rt. 18 the first time, you go into Terminus Cave where 50% was found in XY and you find more Cells that upgrade it to 50% form. Then when you're fighting Team Flare, Zygarde reaches 100% form just in time for the final showdown. Of course that might be awkward for them to implement (because then they have to account for the player's choice not to use it as well as varying levels throughout the game) but it'd be really awesome if they could make it work somehow, It's interesting to see a game where you meet the mascot legendary earlier in the game at a weaker form and bond with it throughout the game until it reaches full power in the end. It could work as a spiritual successor to Yellow.

So really, what the last games of 6th Gen could really do is to have more megas, most notably from 5th and 6th Gen, improve the frame-rate significantly as they should know by now how to figure out and manipulate the 3-D graphics, the story-line would be ALOT more developed and well-written, along with an ACTUAL Post-game content. Bring some characters to life, make them interesting, such as AZ, Diantha, Malva, etc.
And how exactly did AZ revived his Floette, then converted it to a machine to kill off the rest of the participants in the war? Using the life of Pokémon... and all of this is what eventually led into Infinity Energy.. I wonder if he knew about Zygarde before.. and AZ has NEVER shown up in the anime, and he was a very important character in the games. The event he caused in the war has changed Kalos drastically, and caused the Multiverse theory Zinnia mentions in ORAS. I hope they expand upon his role and Team Flare's in the next game(s) if Lysandre is still alive, or Malva is going to lead the team this time. Hopefully this Gen would have the best storyline since Gen 5th. Develop the Character-customization more, and this time, it would be a bit better with no hat
This is my own preference, but I would REALLY like for them to include a way for us to change the background for Wifi battling. It gets boring from time to time playing on the same one, I mean, we can change the music for battling! It's not like the visual designs from those backgrounds can distract the player, in the world championships, they had a unique background only for the participants. Why can't that be the same for us?
Is this more difficult for them to do that than what they did before when working on X/Y? And usually, last games each Gen does end being better than the first ones, so there's no doubt the final games this Gen would surprise everyone
And I still play my Y version from time to time and just listen to the music.. and look at some atmospheric places that's memorable to me..
.
So really, to those that think Pokémon is failing and getting worse, they are most certaintly wrong. It is ever-so improving, this is NOT 1998,2003,2005,or even 2009 anymore. We are in 2015, so please get used to the change Gamefreak has in store for us... because we are in for a treat next year, with their anniversary... And stop letting nostalgia get the best of you... really.. even if your not a Gewunner, have some patience and see what 6th Generation can really do. I have NO IDEA how long we have to wait until a new main game announcment, I'm beginning to doubt Masuda is going to reveal it this week, since apparently, he's only there for the music.. nor a Nintendo direct this Thursday.. but I feel like we have to pay attention to the anime more.. since that itself has stuff we may not know.

Is it entirely possible that instead of everyone(Pokenchi, Masuda, CoroCoro, ect.) saying something like "tune in next time for big news", that they are purposefully holding back and letting the anime itself do all the talking and hype-building? Because I'm pretty sure they are aware that the fans KNOW something is coming, but yet they are being tight-lipped about everything. The only one that has been making noise is the anime, and nothing else. What if this is some new marketing strategy that they're trying: let the anime create all the hype, and say absolutely nothing until the last possible minute with a surprise that's not given any heads-up whatsoever.

Seeing that there are two Zygarde cores, the red and the blue one, I'm guessing that Zygarde needs both of them to transform into perfect Zygarde (or 100%, name it how you like it). Given that, I have made some thoughts about what the next game(s) could be:

1) One game with one evil team hunting down the Zygarde cores, Xerneas and Yveltal (maybe Xerneas is guarding the one core and Yveltal the other one) and the hero's mission is to ruin their plans as always. Sounds like a sequel, like Emerald for Ruby and Sapphire, with the difference being that there is only ONE team hunting ALL three legendaries, and not two teams hunting down the one they want.

2) TWO games, which basically will be a reproduction of ORAS. One team hunting one Pokemon that has the ability to revert into a more powerful form blablabla. I wouldn't like this concept to be honest, and to be viable it would need to take a strange swift. There's one scenario in my mind in which Zygarde manages to save one of the two cores (Red in Y2, Blue in X2) and Team Flare captures the other one, leading to the final battle where Zygarde turns perfect and they can't stop it and you must battle it and Ice beam/master ball and voila. The other scenario I created is if there were two more forms to be announced, like 75% blue and 75% red, where Zygarde takes a new form based on the core it is close to/wants to. That would be rather unviable as well, and maybe too mainstream.. In any case we would get new Pokemon, new trade evos so that you can't complete the Pokedex without trading etc etc..

I'm disappointed by the CoroCoro leaks in general, I was expecting something greater than that, but there's nothing we can do so HEY let's wait more. Sounds fun.

One would be like Platinum in that cyrus wanted both DP mascots except with the third member added into the goals, along with being similar to Emerald if they do take the 'quasi-sequel for a third version' route again.

As for Two...well it doesn't have to be two teams as Flare, and Galactic were after one of the mascots of the pair versions and didn't have any rival team. Plasma kind of wanted our dragon too...

I think the two cores if they are the only ones will be two halves of Zygarde's brain and both will be able to turn into 50 percent. It's possible that the Zyagrde Flare has in the anime is Blue core already transformed...

Doesn't Zygarde have one core? the rest are the cells..

In the most recent corocoro they show a blue core Zygarde so it seems to have a least two. I assume the cores will fuse to make Perfect Zygarde who has red and blue parts.
