    As the name suggests, this is a thread where u can discuss anything about shiny pokemon that u got on XD/Colossuem, as long as u didn't cheat to get them. Here, u can hopefully have a majority of your questions answered about shiny pokemon on Pokemon Colosseum or Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness

    Q: What is a shiny Pokemon?
    A: A shiny Pokemon is a pokemon that is differently colored than it is normally.

    Q: Woah! Do I get anything special by getting them?
    A: No, they are just for bragging rights. And they make u have a sense a pride :)

    Q: What is the chance of seeing one?
    A: 1 in 8192, or 0.0001220703125, just like in the handheld games.

    Q: So, what will it look like on Pokemon XD/Colosseum?
    A: Well, it will be a different color. However, it will not look exactly like on the handheld games, but sometimes it does.

    Q: Is there anything else that will signal that it is shiny?
    A: When it comes out of the Poke Ball, little orange-yellow orbs will fly around it.
     
    I know all about shinies, I have 3!

    Anyway, wondering if it is possible to get Shadow Pokemn Shiney.

    And also, is it possible to get Lugia shiney, once you have purified it?
     
    Yeah, like LDD said, u can get shiny pokemon from PokeSpots, they will be shiny when u see them eating the food. As for Lugia, u must purify it to see if it is shiny.
     
    is it harder or easyer to get shiny pokemon on colloseum/XD than pokemon GBA games

    Switch The Party Arround So That Every One Of Them Are Shinny
    Gba Pokemon<catch Warmple Masterballs(i Have Like 9999999 Of Them)
    Trade Back For Warmpile
    Remove Warmpile Form Game Via Releace.
     
    i have exactle 7 shinys 1.fei/mudkip lvl 87 2.gardy/gardievoir lvl 78 3.ziggy/linoone lvl 46 4.gulliper/wingull lvl 54 5.dusty/dustox lvl 69 6.ivy/venasaur lvl 100 7.lillytad/lotad lvl 22 all from leafgreen/emerald now all in XD gale of darkness :)

    I have 3 shinies too. One can say it is a bit harder to catch shiny pokemon on the game becuz they don't appear as frequently as wild pokemon in the handheld games. IT is VERY hard to catch a shiny pokemon at all, and it is even harder to catch it on the console games.

    are you positive that the only time it dose that?

    if you are i am positive i have one!

    but i cant remember what pokemon it is -go's of too look-

    now i must go find out what one i have -jumps down to the game cube-

    edit: but all of my pokemon that are in Great Balls look like that
