Xenoblade Chronicles 2

I haven't touched this game in weeks at this point, but over the course of my break - I still have more than a month off right now - I'll be getting back into it.

This has some of the best world design and art of any game I've ever played - and of course I got the special edition so I could have that art book! The story surprisingly doesn't suffer in this series as a result of the visuals, either, something I deeply appreciate about the series.

Some of the voice acting, though - both in English and in Japanese - is absolutely atrocious, and the Nopon are by far the worst culprits; their voices being completely normal (not high pitched) is deeply incongruous with their way of speaking and I die a little each time I hear one.

And yet, I can't wait to jump back into this game.

Well, out of sheer luck, I managed to get a rare blade with Keen Eye and progressed further through the story. Now I'm a bit stuck on this one sidequest regarding the hot spring murder.
