Well considering you'd probably only be 17 by then, wouldn't that be illegal?

...not like that's stopped anyone before.

:) I think it would be Yum. Not that I know it, but I like alchohol even I almost never got it.

If it's a small, low-key party, I wouldn't think it should be a big deal. Of course as long as no one drives and everyone just stays the night at your place. A party of that magnitude though, the chances of word getting out that your parents let kids drink are huge. o.o

What's so great about alcohol anyway? I (mistakingly XD) had just a sip of a can of beer that was in my fridge when I was little (I couldn't read and it looked like a can of root beer o_o) and it was the most revolting thing I've ever tasted. XP

Well, the drinking age here is 21. o_o Not like it matters for me, I don't plan on drinking alcohol ever. Yuck. >O

I totally agree with you, Kels. I've never had beer before... but when I was little, my grandfather made me have a sip of his wine, and I thought even that was disgusting. So I doubt I'll ever drink alcohol either.

I don't see the thrill of drinking anyway... I just don't. O_o

I remember when I was eight my uncle offered me a glass of beer when I asked for water. God, I was so quick to spew that out. It was more bitter than even I can take, and I'm the one chugging down tabasco sauce....No alcohol for me.

Ugh, don't even bring up smoking. <<; I seriously feel as if my lungs are going to be completely black by the end of this school semester... and that's just from all the second hand smoke around the campus. It's disgusting, really. I really don't get why anyone would want to smoke or drink at all...

Does Connecticut even have laws against smoking in public venues? In New Jersey you can't smoke on a college campus....

Yeah, you aren't allowed to smoke in restaurants or any public places like that... but they don't have any laws about smoking outdoors, at least not to my knowledge... so there are no laws about smoking on the college campus either. x_x;

Smoking is sick. I don't see what kind of mental malfunction a person needs to lead them to smoking a cigarette. I understand how addictive they are because of nicotine and whatnot, but why even start? Debate me however long you wish on that topic, but I just don't get it. O.<

I can't breathe near people that are smoking either. I end up coughing a lot... and that's just from second hand smoke... I can't imagine how bad it would be if I actually smoked. ><; And for some reason, I always get stuck walking behind people that smoke. It's so gross. x_x; And it seems like almost everyone on my campus smokes...

Same here! I hate it! ;o; I dont understand how they can BREATHE.

@@ My uncle smokes like.. 2 packs of cigs a day.. >> -inside- his house~

My dad smokes, too~ but not as much~

I make it quite clear how I feel about cigarettes when I walk near someone who smokes. <_< It just irritates my eyes and my throat, so I'm not just gonna let them puff their poisonous gas without me at least coughing absurdly loud. *bricked*

._. Yeah~ and for me I can't help it ><;; Even after I walk away, I'm still coughing ;O; it's disgusting!!
;______;..

I do that too, Kelsey. XD; Part of it is me actually coughing... but I make it extra loud and obnoxious just to prove my point.

Luckily, no one in my house, or family for that matter, smokes. No one really drinks either... unless we're at a party or if it's some sort of special occassion.

Mmm... smoking's banned indoors here in NZ as well.. I really don't understand those who get addicted to it via trends, peers and not out of their own will... it greatly reduces one's life span and can cause pnemonia and lung cancer, according to my knowledge XD

For the record, I'll never smoke tobacco or marijuana, but with the way things are going, I'll probably end up becoming a really heavy drinker ten to twenty years from now.

Beer in America tastes disgusting because it's extremely watered down. In Canada, the Philippines, Germany, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic, the beer is significantly stronger and more flavourful.

Ugghh... beer, the representative entity of all things bitter and disgusting. I truly do not see the "flavour" in beer, yes, ONCE in my life as an act to satiate my curiosity, it's just dark, cold and bitter.
