Yay, my favorite time of the day. XD

Let's see...can vote, can buy stuff that you couldn't before...that's more or less it I think, there's probably a lot of other things that I can't think of. XD

Damn...I can still remember when 18 sounded forever away.

In the US, you can drink at 21, but you're an adult at 18.

People are counting already? T_T

Vote, buy tobacco, order stuff on the TV ("must be 18 years or older to call"), it was the age for the draft (and probably will be if we ever see it again), probably other legal mumbo-jumbo I don't know of... XD

Depends were you live. Australia legally recognises a person of 18 years of age as an adult.

Hehehe, in Australia your allowed to drink at 18.

Not that it stops anyone of course.

Of course. XD

Over here in Germany, if I remember correctly... you can get wine and beer at 16, and the rest at 18. On the base, you can actually get alcohol at 18, or I think I've seen that.
I don't know about the rest.

Yay~! Soon you'll be old like me! Awesome. XD

...and where's all this PC dying stuff even coming from? O_o

I'll be old next year. D: I don't know what to think.

^ what he said. XD

Aside from being able to vote again...there really isn't anything else that I actually want to do. XD

Oh! At 18 you can buy lotto tickets too. I've been meaning to go buy myself some of those scratch tickets... those are fun. <3 But... I'd rather not blow the little money I have at the moment on something like that.

But yeah, besides the whole voting thing, there's not much about being 18 that really interests me either.

In Italy, they sell alcohol at your local McDonalds.

And apparently it's cheaper than the coffee there.

That's interesting. XD;

But being cheaper than coffee? That's odd o.o;

Awww, you know you want to burn your money on that totally useless thing they showed on TV last night ;D

You can buy lotto tickets? o_O I never knew that; I assumed that would go under "gambling".

Same here, but voting doesn't even sound that appealing. :/

Don't worry, I'm not.

That means it's my mum's birthday where you live...

MATT~~! <3 *shot* XD

It is? That's interesting.

Dinner! *goes to eat* XD;

Hah. That reminds me of what my brother did a day after he turned 18. He went down to the gas station and bought nearly $50 worth of scratch tickets, he ended up getting like...$250 in winnings. Not really much, but at least he got something. And I know what I won't be doing that when I turn 18. XD

I actually don't really wanna be 18, but I know it's coming...I just wanna go back to the time when 18 was forever away. XD

Yeah, you can buy lotto tickets at 18. I think gambling refers to gambling in a casino-type setting only. The lottery doesn't count in that, for some reason.

I know... voting doesn't seem to appealing to me either. But I get to vote for the first time this November. o.o

Almost all the guys I know, on their 18th birthdays, went to the gas station and bought a pack of cigarettes, scratch tickets, and... other stuff... XD

I haven't bought anything you need to be 18 to buy~

And how do you think I feel? I've been 18 for over 6 months now. XD

I don't think there's anything I actually wanna do. XD I'll probably just spend it like I did when I turned 17, sleep in all day. Best.Birthday.Ever.

...or not, but it was better than a lot of other birthdays. XD

Yeah...but you've had time to get used to it and stuff...I don't wanna be an old man! XD

There's nothing I actually want to do either. XD;

My 17th birthday was awful. I ended up crying myself to sleep that night and I made myself sick. Yeah. <<; My 18th birthday was much better. I believe I just went to school, and then came home and did nothing. That's always fun. <3

Yeah, but the more I get used to it... the older I feel. And I don't like feeling old. XD But then again, I'd rather feel old than have people think I'm in the 5th grade... *had that happen this past June* <<;;

I guess nothing good actually happens until 21 or so.

Oh, yeah, I remember you telling me about that a few months ago. Must have sucked. On my 17th birthday, I don't anyone but like...my mom and cousin remembered, and they didn't do anything. Not that I mind, I'm not all that fond of attention and stuff.

I guess I'll never have the problem of being mistaken for the 5th grade...thank God. XD People usually think I'm older than I actually am, but never younger.

I don't think I'll even care about being 21. I don't plan on drinking or gambling, so that really does me no good either. I was perfectly content being 16 and being able to drive.

Yeah... pretty much no one remembered my birthday. I usually hate attention, but I do like it on my birthday. Even my own father didn't say "happy birthday" to me. It did suck... especially the fact that I cried so much I made myself sick. I probably blew everything way out of proportion that day too. Ah well, at least my 18th birthday was happier~

In 5th grade... you're ten years old. XD; I was helping out at a fair at the elementary school since I needed community service hours. And one lady came up to me and asked me, very seriously too, if I was in the 5th grade. o.o;; When I told her I was a senior in high school, she seemed very shocked. XD; I know I look younger than I am... but not THAT much younger. XD

That's really odd; I would assume it'd be the same. :/

Ah, the mid-term elections. I get to vote the next Presidental elections. o.o;

I won't be doing that my 18th birthday. I probably won't have money to burn, and I don't want to smoke. Ew. >>

...I actually did see something I wanna blow my money on from last night. XD

I knew it! >O What was it? XD;

SAMMI~~~! <3 *stare* XD

<3~!
I'll get on MSN in a second, if you're on it right now. ^^;

I wish I could've done it this year. D: It was on a Thursday though, so no luck.

I don't want to be old either, but that's life for you. XD

Sounds like my birthday, except I cried myself to sleep on Friday. D: I wonder if 17th birthdays just suck, period. XD;;

Reminds me of this one kid; I swear, he thought I was in the middle school. It doesn't help the Senior lockers are where some middle school classes are. >> Man, I hate that hallway... nowhere near any of my classes at all.

I guess I'll never have the problem of being mistaken for the 5th grade...thank God. XD People usually think I'm older than I actually am, but never younger.

I'll trade you. D: Sometimes, I'd rather look older than younger.

Oh yeah, your birthday sucked too. ;_; Maybe it is that 17th birthdays just suck. XD

I'm sure people have thought I was in middle school or like a high school freshman or something before. But being thought of as a 10 year old was just... weird. o.o I mean, my little sister is 12. There's just no way I look younger than her. XD;

I'll turn 18 just in time for the 2008 presidential elections. Don't know who I'm gonna vote for, however...
