Since I don't live in Japan I could care less about the PS3 price cut. XD
They are losing so much money off the PS3 as is, I don't see how they can live with a price cut BEFORE it comes out.

Yea I got 2 normal DVD players, 5 computers with DVD players, 2 PS2s, 1 XBox 360, and a portable DVD player.

In that case, we also have an X-box that can't play them right now (no remote thing), a PS2, and at least one computer. I don't know if the parent's computer plays them or not. XD

I think it's strange that the XBox can't play DVDs without a remote. At least they changed that with the 360.

Matt: First one went all screwy (wouldn't load normal CDs, and would take like 3 mins to load DVDs). So I went out and got a new Slimline PS2.

I somehow doubt that Sony will actually manufacture a PS3 with an integrated grill, but then again, it would probably be just another reason to jack up the price even higher...
