Hey everyone, I'm new to these forums but wanted to ask for your opinions on how viable running a Beedrill deck would be. For those who aren't familiar, Beedrill does the following:

    120 HP
[G] Poison Sting - 30 damage that lets you flip a coin to poison opponent
[G][C] Swarming Sting - Does 40 damage times the number on Beedrill you have on the field to ANY of your opponent's Pokémon

I know there are a few cards necessary to run this deck like that Stadium card that lets you evolve your Grass-types the same turn you play them (forget the name of card).

I really like the card though and would love to build a competitive deck around it. Obviously, it has it's shortcomings (Have to get multiple Beedrill out to really do any damage, not great HP, have to rely on that Stadium card to speed up process, even with all 4 Beedrill out you're not OHKOing a lot of EXs). I would think that you'd want to pair it with a couple EXs that add some muscle. Any ideas?

well for me i prefer to use mew(normal one with ability to use other pokemon attack)

forest of giant plant is good, but U NEED SHAYMIN EX(WITH CARD DRAWING ABILITY) or people can jst bust u up really nice n quick.

card like revitalizer n rare candy could help u too(since with revitalizer u can get both beedril n sewadle in hand right away)

against card with low cost like yanmega deck/damage transfer newtwo u need to know they can shut u down really quick.

for me personally i would want to know about his 1 cst attack, can it combined with poison? if its then u can get free kill almost every turn.

I touched on this in my Daily article reviewing the set, but I think it should be quite good. Sceptile EX seems like an inherently good partner, matching type and low energy cost. Yanmega also sounds fun.
