Ok I need the moveset for a yanmega.
This is what I thinkit should loook like but I need it to be corrected.

whirlwind = fail on anything that can't take a hit...protect > detect, dream eater is fail. There, that shopuld've narrowed it down...I prefer protect with speed boost.

Why is Yanmega hated?? Heres why:

Go! Aerodactyl!
Go! Yanmega!
Yanmega used Protect!
Aerodactyl used Stone edge!
Yanmega protected itself..
Yanmega used Hypnosis!
Aerodactyl fell asleep!

Thats why. Now imagine if sleep clause was never invented..

You can also put Hidden power Ice or Ground on it.



For Item either : - Wise Glasses, Life Orb, Expert Belt or just good old leftovers.

Standard Yanmegas come with this moveset:

Hypnosis
Air Slash
Bug Buzz
Protect

However, I managed to breed one with a good HP (Fire, power 66) So I swapped Protect for that.

EDIT: Also Wide Lens never hurt for an item. It's good to get that extra Hypnosis accuracy...

Wha? Yanmega is still great...sleep clause doesn't stop it from being a beast.

I know, it ruins the purpose of Yanmega.

It's just that since Yanma wioth Compoundeyes evolve into Yanmega with Tinted Lens, Hypnosis isn't as accurate as it was on Yanma.

But, it still works better than my novelty set >.>;

Edit: Then again, Hypnosis did get an accuracy boost in D/P.

He forgot the comma :/ The guy who made this thread is Dark Charizard. Speed boost improves his sweeping ability, he isn't only for Hypnosis :/

choice specs + tinted lens is actually a very good combination. it still gets walled by blissey and the sort, but if you think switching in skarmory to take the hit is a good idea, think again.

Hmmmm, well here is mine. I decided against Hypnosis due to the Sleep Clause, but that is just me.

Has taken almost anything thrown at it. Always use protect first to get speed boost. A good opponent however will anticipate and stat up also, so if you believe them to do so, then perhaps hit them first, and then protect.
