taillow evolved into swellow yesterday in japan!

and so, the japanese ending picture has changed yet again!

next will be combusken. unless i'm very much mistaken, torchic will evolve in two weeks.

At least it'll be able to own opponents with stronger attacks like Endeavour now...

But then again, knowing Ash he'll keep making it use Peck and stuff like that instead -.-

I actually knew about this for a while since Swellow was in the new opening. The only reason they gave Ash a flying type in the first place was to break Team Rocket's nets and balloons and search from the sky. He uses Pikachu, Corephish, and Treecko/Grovyle for all his real battles...

swellow looks really mean... like grovyle.

but i guess ash's hoenn team is going for cool/fierce looks, whilst his former teams had generally cute appearances
