i am a fan of water pokemon, and totodile (feraligatr - i think thats how u spell it...lol) is a water pokemon, and it is an aggresive one, of which there are few...so yeh hence my vote

Totodile evolves into feraligatr wich can learn earthquake and ice punch, therefor beating any type. Mudkip is who I voted for though because it is coolest.

And you should've listed each of the D/P starters, not just given one option. Also, Pikachu, despite being the Pokémon you start with in Yellow, isn't really a starter, both in that it was available in earlier games, and in that it doesn't follow the standard triangle rule or is one choice of many. If you list Pikachu, you should probably also list Eevee, Espeon, and Umbreon, for Colo and XD.

Listing all the starters in order of my preference, they would be:

7. Torchic
