Yet another.... RMT! [OU]

Banded Ape carrying Stone Edge can tear through this team. I recommend you put a counter to ape like Cress or Dusky in there to tstop its rampage. Your team looks pretty good otherwise.

Just eww at Choice Band MixApe. MixApe isn't that much of a problem either. Zapdos can attempt to revenge kill it, while Mence and Snorlax can switch in on Close Combat and the special moves, respectively.

He didn't say CB MixApe. Infernape is actually a viable CBer who can rip through this team, as can the swords dancer. Mixape is also a problem. Prediction isn't going to beat it in most cases. Vaporeon is a great all-purpose Infernape counter (and Gyarados counter, something this team can only revenge kill). I'd take out Forretress or Metagross for it, as defensively their typing is very similar and it's a tad redundant.

Stone Edge Mixape gives me problems, but it If I switch it Gyara and Mence and other Attacks, then I can drop the attack enough then Snorlax can switch in and ruin it.
I do have a Mixape weak, though. May consider WishVappy over Gross in the future if it proves to be a problem, although most teams expect a mixape counter and fail to do carry it.

HP Ice Mixape is an issue, though, but can be dealt with a similar way.

So Vappy over Gross?

taunt is only useless because experienced battlers will see a gyarados and think "bulky taunt-a-dos", and hence not use none-attack moves. this life orb DD gyarados is only benefiting from the previous version, but once they know this gyarados doesn't have taunt it's going to get shut down.

mixape shouldn't be that much of a problem since gyarados and salamence both resist its moves, and can cut down its attack with intimidate. i wouldn't be too worried about mixape or any physical ape with this team.

I like that zapdos though, and I may try it out myself.

Um, by the time they realise Gyara is not carrying taunt, it will have 1-2 DDs under it's belt.

A number of Mixapes are carrying HP Ice/Stone Edge to deal with Mence and/or Gyarados. These kind do present an issue, but I am keen to retain Metagross.

I know very well how to use Taunt and have used it successfully on teams is the past, but after a DD, anything that poses a threat is mostly unaffected by Taunt, anyway.
Gyarados: "Oh yay, I can avoid being phazed... Wait, I 2HKO Skarm anyway..."
