I've noticed over the internet, people have suggested ways to get Ultra Rares and Ultimate rares. Some people say if the booster pack is heavy, it's got a good card in it.

I really want to learn the technique of pulling awesome cards since I have really bad luck with cards.

Simple. Buy a hell of a lot of booster packs. Either that, or get the ability to alter probability. That's all you can do to gurantee a super-rare.

Well, this might seem like a silly suggestion but how about you take a rare card you do have, wrap it up with a bunch of commons (Equal to the number of cards in the booster) and then wrap up a couple of bunches of commons, switch them around until you don't know where the rare is and try weighing and feeling and what have you then repeat until you get it right something like seven or eight times out of ten? As I recall, the really rare ones are slightly thicker than commons, so I guess you could try feeling from the side of the pack if there's something that fits. Practice makes perfect. ^^ I symphatize, my inability to pull out the good ones was quite clear back when I was still into the pokémon TCG, and I've got a collection of 20 Oddishes to prove it. Not that I ever really tried, mind you. ^-^

Seriously, though, you're liable to piss store employees off if you go around rare hunting like that. xD

There is no secret.

It's simply some psychological charm if there happens to be some random "dot" on the cover of the booster. It doesn't indicate some super special awesome card that's hidden within. It's as silly as those people in Pokemon Gameboy games thinking that if you watch a Pokemon and you hold "down+A" as you throw the pokeball, you'll increase the capture rate...

The only possible reason why rares weigh more than the others are like... what, the "holographic" substance within them that weights 0.001g more? If a card just happens to weigh heavier than another, it's not by much and it's simply a random error (meaning, possible that even commons weigh more than the ultra rares.) Even machines can't make perfect cards that are identical in all dimensions and weight all the time... To get these super small weight differences, you probably need one of those lab scales where even a speck of crystal will increase the reading dramatically... AKA, such weight differences in a piece of paper is truly neglectable, especially if it's wrapped up in something else too.

Oh, psychic power training helps too. Better to use see through the wrapper altogether if you want ultra rare.

I was reading some threads on some Yu-Gi-Oh forums and they stated the following ways:

• Use a scale.
• Freeze a whole booster pack box. The ones that are bent are holos. Sell the rest.
• Here is a Box of YGO, containing 24 packs, read carefully

  The right side is usually more random, due to the fact the the printing machines actually package these sides of the boxes, they will all vary after 3.2.
