ITT: I just put this together quickly today because I felt like I wanted to make a purely Rock-type deck. It's not the most efficient because I felt like I ran out of cards to put in halfway and I splashed whatever else I could into it. So, obviously I need a bit of direction here.

One thing, though: I'd like to restrict the monster types to Rock-type as much as possible, and EARTH attribute at the very least. The Spell and Trap cards are where I feel most of the work needs to be done, however.

    Monster (20)
    1 | Dark Dust Spirit
2 | Gaia Plate the Earth Giant

    3 | Gigantes
    3 | Koa'ki Meiru Guardian
    3 | Legendary Jujitsu Master
    1 | Mormolith
    1 | Morphing Jar
    2 | Naturia Butterfly
    3 | Naturia Cliff
    1 | Neo-Spacian Grand Mole

    Spell (11)
    1 | Burial from a Different Dimension
    1 | Card Destruction
    1 | Foolish Burial
    1 | Gaia Power
    1 | Giant Trunade
    3 | Hand Destruction
    1 | Heavy Storm
    1 | Lightning Vortex
    1 | Mystical Space Typhoon

    Trap (9)
    1 | Mirror Force
    2 | Release from Stone
1 | Return from the Different Dimension
    2 | Spiritual Earth Art -- Kurogane
    2 | Starlight Road
    1 | Torrential Tribute

    Extra (15)
    1 | Ancient Fairy Dragon
    1 | Black Rose Dragon
1 | Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier
    1 | Goyo Guardian
    3 | Naturia Barkion
    1 | Naturia Beast
    3 | Naturia Landoise
    3 | Stardust Dragon
    1 | X-Saber Urbellum

Obviously, from this build, I've seen that getting L7 Synchros out is the easiest thing next to drawing a card during the Draw Phase. More often than not, my strategy devolves into bombing the field with Black Rose, drawing something out with Cliff, and Special Summoning Gaia Plate of Gigantes.

The thing I really would like to implement is a more reliable drawing engine and more ways to counter Spell and Trap cards. Kind of doubting the efficacy of Giant Rat here, since he has very few targets to begin with.

Also, note that I made this deck using the 2010 version of the YuGiOh DS game, so I didn't have the liberty of adding cool things like Sandman in here.

Naturia Butterfly and Cliff look like they were thrown in there. Do they work? Because it sure dosen't look like they do. With only two targets, Cliff is pretty bad.

It looks great besides that. Nice job, and interesting deck.

Cut the Starlights for Bottomless. Cut the Gaia Power for Solemn Judgment. Cut one of the Hand Destructions for Brain Control.

Dark Dust seems really out of place here, as do the Naturias. If you're using the Naturias for Tribute fodder or something to that effect, don't run them. If you're using them for synchroing purposes... you might as well run Shiba-Warrior Taro and Psychic Commander or something. o_o I suppose they would work decently well, though the optional clause on Cliff is a little iffy to me.

@Jus aux pommes: Cliff can target itself. 4 targets :D

    HEY! You said Apple Juice.

    Thanks for the feedback~

I'm going to take that advice you gave me and cut the cards you listed because (1) Starlight was just put there randomly because I couldn't think of another card and on the off-chance I could summon Stardust, it brought a few giggles short of a heart attack; (2) I have never once hit Gaia Power but I've won a lot without it so far. It's only in there because I used to run an EARTH swarm deck waay back then and I thought it would be as good as then too, but this runs waay differently from that. So yup :) (3) Yeh, I hate running 3x Hand Destruction.

As for Dark Dust, I like him (he's one of my old-time favorite cards) since I'll usually always have at least one monster on the field to tribute for him and he clears the field quite nicely, opening up for Gigantes / Gaia Plate and Cliff's Special Summon, etc. Though, yeah, I can see how you'd think he's out of place -- I'll need a suggestion otherwise since I don't really know what to do with him.

Naturias -- I like Naturia Cliff because he's the only Rock-type monster with a searcher effect, and one that can pull out a Tuner too. At that, he also fills up the Grave with EARTH and Rock-types. I'm also using him over other cards because I wanted as many Rock-types as possible. idk, I might add some more Naturia cards just to see more use of him, since he's one of the main cards in the deck anyway. edit Also I like Butterfly's self-mill.

Dark Dust... well, he's good. I'll warrant you that. If Cliff is as consistent as you say it is, then I'd advocate keeping him, especially because he's like a Lightning Vortex on your opponent when you want to use him. He's not a Rock-type, but he IS a Spell-Card-like monster (like those field-spell searcher dudes!) and so he's fine.

If you like the Cliff engine then by all means, keep it. ^^ A card I'd also suggest to you is Rock Bombardment, a Foolish Burial for Rock-type monsters in Trap form (if that's something that you might want) that deals 500 damage in the process.

    Lol, fail. I knew that. XD;;

I agree with everything he said... :x
