New card.

Mage Power
Magic
Increase the attack of the equipped monster by 500 points for each magic and trap on your side of the field.

This card is the best power up card in Advanced Format, in Tradidtional it was this, and UWS, but now this is the best because of the bans. This card can really make some of the weaker Monsters more uber, I put down 4 M/Ts then equip this to Mataza the Zapper, and then destroy the opponet!

Uhm...DIVINE WRATH sir...

I have to give MAge power my 6/10 because it likes to make you drop your spells/traps for power, and its suceptible to S/T removal, like Pogi said.

MP's got a more finishing feel to it than an actual offensive mechanism IMO. Obviously as a finisher it's great, but as you have already said about the downfalls of the card, it's evident that it's only good as a finisher. Thus my money's on whether you can shell out a space for a potential finisher or go with utility or something else.

7/10

I'm aware of that. Thing is, Mullet doesn't ahve Divine Wrath. I do.

I can use it for offence, and as a finisher. I used it on my friend after I Crossout on him, and then blasted him for 4400 direct damage to his life points!

That's what I'm saying, it feels so much more like a finisher, you know dealing 4000+ damage is considered more of a finishing move.

I wouldn't exactly call it "wasting a card", considering I ofen do somethign like this:

Nobleman of extermination several of the face down cards, MST, Mage Power or fissure teh monster, since more often than not it's the only one on the field, then soul release Mage Power along with a bunch of the the opponent's other cards, then fiber it all and start teh duel over, with me more or less still with a full deck, and them missing a considerable chunk.

That's the general way my deck plays. card destruction and removal.

Exactly. If mage power goes off even once, it's considered "burn" damage. Twice, it's recurring burn damage. The difference here is that mage power requires your opponent to have removal to take care of it whereas regular burn like tremenous fire goes away after you activate it. It's more on the personal bias toward the card itself, whether you treat is as an equip card or a simple burn card, not whether you remove it from the game or not.

Eww..Nobleman of Extermination...

Meh...Mage Power has the weaknesses that any OTHER equip card has, thats nothing to worry about. A maximum of 3000 attack boost isnt anything to laugh at either.

I give it a 10/10.
