Thta is enough on ity's own. Simple combo. Say they have a nineteen hundred monster on teh field. They equip mage power to it, play a field, and play four other cards face down just to boost him.

You activate RIng of destruction on said monster. Then you activate barrel behind the door on said monster. OUch. The opponent is dead.

All equip cards have their downsides, which is why most equip cards I see nowadays in professional decks are either not for powering up, or have a residual effect, EI. Black Pendant, or Mask of the Accursed.
 
Last I checked ROD is a normal Trap Card (Spell Speed 2), which means that if one of those cards you laid down happened to be a MST or some other SS2/3 M/T removal card you could respond to the ROD with it, destroy it, and assuming they don't have a Draining Shield, Magic Cylinder or some other annoyance on the field, follow through with your attack at the cost of 500 attack points.

When this card is successfully Tribute Summonded you may destroy 2 spell or trap cards on the field.

Not much to say but wow! I like this card (to bad I don't have it). This card is useful for any deck type, and is a very good m/t destruction card, which the new meta-game lacks with the bans of Feather Duster, and limiting MST to one. This card gets a 9.5/10! :D
 
I love this card. Run one in my deck. I like reusing him, Flipping up penguin soldier, return my own Mobius to my hand and then summon him again. Love his effect. a double MST with attack strength. Can't beat that! :D I give him a 9/10, being his only draw back is that he tends to be a little slow to pull.
 
Meh... Compulsory Evacuation Device > Penguin Soldier.

I likes this man. Good s/t removal is kinda hard to fit in your deck these days, but a 2400 attacker is NOTHING to laugh at. Not at all.

When this card is destroyed as a result of battle with your opponets monster, remove from play both this card and the opponet's monster that destroyed this card.

Good substitute for the Warrior Lady if you can't get one, and it has better stats than the Lady but she just outclasses him, poor guy, oh well it gets an 8.5/10!:D

Isn't it the same effect?

Me, I don't care much for him. I personally woudl prefer the lady. Though I didn't realize you had such a mean card in your deck. I really have to find that soul release of mine... I'm pretty sure that would tip things a little more back into my favor in our duels.
 
Meh...Id rather run the lady, or the Dimensional Warrior (that has yet...to....appear...for some reason.)

*sigh* He just gets overshadowed by the other two. I give him a 4/10.
 
His effect removes both himsefl and the monster it battles with, regardless of whether he is destroyed or not. An un-optional lady,which is still better than him, IMO.
