    What's Thunder End Dragon doing in the Extra Deck if you have no level 8 Normal monsters? I don't think you can summon it with the Zirconias because Thunder End's Xyz materials are specific towards Normal monsters, not non-effect monsters in general.

    In that slot, you can fit in another Xyz monster like Number 39: Utopia, Vylon Disigma or Number 32: Shark Drake.

    Yeah, that was a misconception a friend of mine gave me ... you can't actually summon TED with Zirconias. Oh well.

    However - Shark Drake and Disigma are really bad. (3 materials ... why am I not summoning Shock Master) Maybe Utopia or Pearl, but a level 8 out to enemy boss monsters would be very nice.

    I am considering Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis.

    I would recommend taking out what I put in bold and try putting in some of these suggested cards

    Spells:
    -white elephant gift x2 or x3
    -pot of avarice x1

    Traps:
    -Return from the different dimension x1
    - Solemn warning (x1)/judgment x1 or x2

    Some other cards to consider:

    -Since you are running veiler you do have the option to syncro (I know syncroing with veiler isn't all that popular but it is still an option). So you can try putting it catastor or mist wurm.

    -Call of the haunted is always something nice to have

    -Compulsory evacuation device is also another card that can come in handy.

    White Elephant's Gift is an interesting option, and I will look into it for card advantage ...

    Pot of Avarice is too inconsistent and often undesirable because everything gets RFG'd after it hits the graveyard due to Gem-Knight Fusion's recycling ability.

    RfDD is a card I've been testing with, and it's okay I guess? Raigeki Break is better than the Solemn cards for this deck though (since it's more multipurpose - I know it's a -1, but nobody cares when you're pitching Normal Monsters / Gem-Knight Fusion for it). CED and CoH are both "okay" but I don't want to run any more Traps other than the ones I'm running, and I'd run Warning / Judgment before I ran these.

    As for why I'm not removing Future Fusion and Card Destruction...

    Future Fusion literally says "Add 2 Normal Monsters from your Graveyard to your hand" or something to that effect ... it's always at least a break-even by dumping one Iolite, a +1 by dumping two Iolites, and a +2 in the unlikely situation that you didn't draw any Iolites. It's amazing for this deck and Gem-Knight Master Dia / Zirconia are very ambiguous with their materials.

    Card Destruction is an iffy choice because of its weakness versus DW, but its effect triggers Obsidian and Iolite ... so that's why. (I usually pitch it for Raigeki Break versus DW or set it as a bluff.)

    Forbidden Chalice > Chaos monsters, which make this deck facepalm. Also, it's helpful for pushing more damage, and this deck is all about damage.
