Priority in Yugioh TCG is dead.

TCG now following OCG.
If you CBA to read, it is pretty much this.
On summoning, ignition effects can no longer be activated in response to a chain upon summon as they don't start their own chain.

EXAMPLE:
Player A summons BLS
Player B activates Bottomless Trap Hole
Player A's BLS is removed from play and the effect can't be activated.

Player A summons BLS
Player B passes play and doesn't activate anything
Player A can activate BLS effect

However, effects that say:

"When this card is normal/special summoned 'x' happens"

Still work if someone bottomless trap holes the card. So tour guide still works!

Woops. Haha I have been using BTH as an example for things I forgot. TAKE BLS AS THE EXAMPLE THEN!​

This makes things pretty interesting. Bottomless Trap Hole should see a resurgence of play and in response, Solemn Warning could see less play.

Warning will see the same play. Chain Disappearance will see way more play! XD

I've always liked the priority ruling, but it's sad to see that it's dead. D:

In a hypothetical (old) situation: I summon Odin, Father of the Aesir, and call out priority to make him immune to Spells/Traps for the turn (which means that he can't be hit by BTH or TT, but he can still be Solemn'd). Now that priority is gone, Odin can now be hit by the cards I mentioned before he can use his effect. (someone can correct me if I'm wrong here)

This ruins a lot of styles, man. I mean, tons of decks depended on that rule. Disagree.

Priority has been long dead for me because I play largely with OCG rulings, so this isn't significant news for me.

Bottomless probably won't see more play, sadly. =[ Dimensional Prison is the card that's fantastic, and I've seen more D-Prison than I have BTH.

Chain Disappearance is making me laugh so much against Rabbit.

Was playing my mate today, I summon monster and set 2. He summons Rabbit, activate Chain Dis... He is just like, oh crap! XDDDD​

Yet, Dino Rabbit placed first and second at YCS Chicago, which suggests that they are still a dominant force.

It is still the best deck in the current format, you can just stop it a tiny easier.​
