YGO WC2008 Thread

Brain Control, Spell Striker, Fiend's Sanctuary all promote instant summon fodders as well.
 
Fiend's Sanctuary and Brain control I can do, but I don't have Spell Striker. Anyway, I'd almost rather use Metal Reflect Slime or Skull Zoma then Fiend's Sanctuary. Slime can wall the opponent, and Zoma's got respectable attack and a nice little burn clause. Takes a bit longer to use, but fun. (Not that either one would work in my deck, of course, since I'm running Jinzo and Decree). I'm trying a D-Hero variant using foolish burial or other means to dump Dasher to the graveyard as well as the usual Malicious. It's really just for fun, in the end.
 
can i ask something what cards does WCT2008 has inside?
 
Err... all cards up through Gladiator's Assault, with the exception of Zombie Master, as well as a few promo cards like Angel 07. Yah, if that doesn't help, not sure what can.
 
Sometimes cards are missing because Konami wants you to buy children's trading cards with all your money. Zombie Master and archfiend decks are the most famous out of the missing ones, but there's more missing. You'll have to go to gamefaq and look at the card list, and use the search function to see what's missing.

By the way, you can't see how glad I am that I finally found the first monarch card I can use ;__; Not that I want to make a monarch but in world 2, I'm not complaining.
 
Really? How'd you get it? CPU dueling? I still haven't started on that. *laughs nervously*. Only CPU Free Duel packs I've got are the ones from World One and the default opponents. Everything else is just unlockables by beating sets of duelists. Only Monarch cards I have are from Free Download.

By the way, I seriously need to duel Icha again. I didn't have time to play around with my E-Hero fusion deck, dagnabbit...
 
I got it from the pack that is unlocked as a result of I think Aquarian Alyssa? I beat all duelists unlocked from world 2 5 times except sabersaurus, sand moth and DDWL. I got zaborg from that pack (yay!) Which is quite to say, the 2nd best monarch imho =D

Really, though.

Right now I'm more interested in doing a Tag battle with a deck that's actually 100% compatible with mine *coughDOUBLECRYSTALBEASTcough*. ...Oh, and Frosty's FC.
 
I'll give out my FC when my deck is actually presentable (as in, not random beatstick of doom).

Oh, Frosty... when you beat every duelist in World Three once, you need to go back to world one in order to meet a random Ojama, and then to the pyramid in world two to meet his brother. Then you can duel the "obligatory bad guy" for world three. Just thought I'd throw that in in case you hadn't already read it somewhere.

Yesh, double Crystal Beast would indeed be fun. Let's go slaughter some innocents. (Mwahahahaha). By the way, how was what you did before "warming up"? You'd better not have let me win on purpose, Icha. >.< If so, remind me to beat you in an extremely embarassing manner. *shows fangs*

Well, just think about it for a second. Why else would I bring out a Crystal Beast against a Skill Drain Aggro? Also, compare the first decks to the deck I won with.

Think about it.

BTW, trying to work out my Skill Drain Aggro's weakness to Decree. I tried testing it against Icha's Gaia OTK, but ended up beating him with a flukey Creature Swap maneuver. Amusing, but not likely to happen again.

Well, you have enough S/T removal in there (I've since seen the deck), so there shouldn't be any problem. You just die to Decree rushes for some reason.

Anyway, I believe I've successfully concocted a deck to counter your own. The AI is not fitting enough, however, so I wish to test it against the real thing. You have 5 minutes.
 
MeiKou is a good card to use in SD aggro. It still works in nuking decree. SD Aggro got more to worry about with RFG deck and their 3 mini-treeborn frogs, Necroface and the OTKs.
 
Heh, I know what you mean. OTK Gaia + Decree was a killer on my deck. Anyway, can't wait to see what you've thought up, Icha. I'll be home from school eventually, so hopefully we can test it then. :3
