Yo what's up

My name is John, I've been lurking here for a couple months on and off and I finally decided to make and account and actually use it :)

I used to be into competitive but I kind of got over Gen VI but I might battle one of you if you're in the mood. I also give away shinies (legit) and event Pokemon on a whim. I don't really and never cared for shinies to be honest. I don't really play vidya too much, I only work on my ROM hack when I'm home and don't have any plans to go out or something :)

Though, I just got Smash bros. for Wii U and I played it with 8 other bros and my actual brother and it was pretty down. I main Peach and Pac man.
I also sorta play Animal crossing... sorta.
*I'm getting bored of typing too much so i'm going to stop.

I lovelove Animal Crossing. There's so much to do but I've already poured around 200 hours into ACNL so I think I'm satisfied with everything I've gotten out of that. Can't wait for the next game in the series. n~n

Welcome to PokeCommunity, John! Good to meet you! Hacking is giant here so you're in the right place for that, always something new popping up be it a resource or new hacked game to try out. There is a lot to do on the forum even outside that, though, so hopefully we'll be seeing you around often.

I never got into competitive Pokémon. I think the only thing it does is to limit and make everyone choose the same sets of Pokémon, with the same strategy.
I would rather play a hundred times the single player campaigns. But I guess that's only my opinion...

It's nice to see you also have been hacking! Have you started your own thread in the Hacking thread? If not, it would be nice to start one to get feedback from the public! I'll do it as soon as I have finished my first two cities on my hack!

I also think the same way. That is why I use my favorite Pokemon and differentiate from the cookie cutter smogon builds. Not that Smogon is a bad thing... but it's literally all you see is Greninja, Mega Charizard, Landorus, Rotom-Wash, etc... it's boring tbh. Which is why I stopped with competitive. It's always the same 20 Pokemon over and over again.

I also think the same way! I love the single player campaign and I think it's the most important thing in Pokemon games which is why X and Y failed so hard and disappointed me personally.

Same here... I've played too much AC:NL that there isn't much to do anymore except for maybe get a seasonal item or two. :/
Same here! I probably only play 4 series of video games at all to be honest hahaha

Grand Theft Auto, Animal Crossing, Super Smash Bros. , and to a lesser extent, Pokemon.
