Ok, Im not saying Im going to use this, but I realsied this could be plausibly workable, and I bet its not, just suggesting.

    Persian-Choice Band
    Jolly-Technician
    252 attack, 252 speed, 4 HP
    Aerial Ace
    Return
    Faint Attack
    U-Turn

Technician raises Aerial Ace and Faint Attack up to 90 power, Return+Stab is pretty high, and U-Turn for escaping. This is just a theory BTW. and if this already known of someone tell me XD.

this is an old idea actually XD. persian did get a WHOLE lot better this gen, but it always ran choice band in UU 3rd gen.

you may want to consider bite instead of faint attack because of the 30% flinch chance. also, you may want to consider fake out over return.

persian really isn't much of a sweeper. it just comes in, performs a hit, induces sleep or switches out. that's why U-turn is so vital on it.

    Just like CB Sucker Punch...

Samson : CB Sucker Punch is officially the oldest trick in the book XD

It could work out, but you'll run out of luck if a steel type comes in

That looks nice, i had a similar idea but with special lol

However your set is probably better

    Persial @Life Orb/ Focus Sash??
    Timid Nature
    252 SP.ATT / 252 SPEED / 6 HP
    Ability: Technician
    - Nasty Plot
    - Swift
    - Water Pulse
    - Hypnosis/Icy Wind/Thunderbolt/Shadow Ball

    errrmmm yeah lol

This set does look very nice though. Persian is so dang fragile though. Not like you can do anything about that...

    Roar>Ninjask lol

But yeah...persain has I believe 115 base speed...so it sure can do SOMETHING. It can work like gengar and use hypnosis, but with far less sweeping power.

i actually love persian as a start with hypnosis. i give it life orb.

You can also nasty plot while they switch out and you have power! Persain isn't half bad now that you think about it...

yeah, i'm with you on that.

    Persian @ Wide Lens/Focus Sash
    Timid Nature
    Ability: Technician
    252 SPD/252 SP ATK/4 DEF
    -Water Pulse/Icy Wind
    -Swift/Thunderbolt
    -Nasty Plot
    -Hypnosis

normal + water covers everything, while thunderbolt + icy wind has popular coverage. i prefer swift + water pulse as swift has a higher BP. icy wind is a plus because it stops incoming choice scarfers like heracross from RAPING you.

I posted something like that earlier on this thread, does it actually work well ??

Sounds good, especially the icy wind idea...wow, that's gotta hurt :) Poor Mence lol...that's actually a REALLY good idea idea.

I've always been one to give Persian Hypnosis for some odd reason. And yeah, Technician really does beef Persian up.

I don't think CB is all that great on Persian...

    Persian @ Focus Sash
Trait: Limber Because, think about it, he would be Hit with a Close Combat two times, and be OHKo'd, Hypnosis just makes Heracross even stronger.
    EV's: 252 Speed, 252 Special Attack, 6 HP
    Timid Nature
    - Nasty Plot
    - Thunderbolt for Staraptor
    - Dark Pulse for Ghosts.
    - Taunt to Stop Phazers from blowing your Nasty Plot away.

Technician can increase almsot all his attacks to 90 POW each, tahst more impressiv than not getting paralyzed.

But not be being paralyzed, and with those Special Attacks increased by Nasty Plot, he's invincible. Over a mere 90 power. Focus Sash to survive, 252 Speed and Timid Nature to make him outspeed anything. I meant 252 Special Attack btw, i'll Edit. 6 Hp for survival.

CB is god on persian. there are plenty of other sets, but it sure can be effective.
