In Generations I and II, you could use the Game Boy Printer for certain things within the Pokemon games. You could print out Pokedex entries, your storage system boxes, your party, your Pokemon Beach High Score in Yellow, Mail in GSC, and apparently, Alpha Ruins Stamps.
Obviously, you can only do this on the Gameboy, and not the Virtual Console.
Did you ever make use of the Game Boy Printer in the Gen I and II games? I don't think it's worth it since the paper is so tiny...
