I think this was a good move for the community as it allows for more expansion!
I'm pretty sure it could do that to begin with.Exactly! Now people have to work for there positions and get a fair treatment! Also hmm does that mean PC is 100% independent and can do as it feels without the approval of the community sites?
i agree, I only ever visited Total Pokemon, and that as one to see what its layout was like. This is pretty interesting.
The sites of this forum wasn't that famous here (at least to my knowledge), so I think I know why this is happening. Still what is the difference when the Site Admins are reduced to normal Admin? They still have the same authority in the forum right?
Fair Enough, Just thought it was an idea. There was a very large thread about this in the Community Questions & Feedback forum, it's just not going to happen. If you're interested in reasons, search out the thread in that forum.

There really wasn't any difference between them in the first place--it's just that staff admins were the ones who earned their admin position from years of dedicated work for the forum itself and site admins earned their positions by years of dedicated work for their site, which joined PC. It's just now that the sites are outdated and PC is self-sufficient, it just didn't really make sense to keep that position there when the actual job descriptions end up being the same thing. So really, they weren't "reduced" at all, just switched into a different usergroup. In short, nothing's changed but the colour. The sites of this forum wasn't that famous here (at least to my knowledge), so I think I know why this is happening. I'm not going to say much, lest I reveal my sources, but I've heard otherwise Rekhyt. I have reasons to believe that there are more reasons than just the ones Jake has made apparent to us now. I've been with PC for 4 years now, and Even though I ain't staff, I've got my finger on the pulse of what goes on behind closed doors. (Much to the perturbation of the staff, but I try to stay out of things and say as little as possible unless there's something fishy going on)Er, I'm pretty sure this decision had a lot of consideration put into it before it was made. I'm sure only a handful of people know what went on behind the scenes.
I can't help but think that if someone's leaking to you from that high up, they aren't a very model staff member, now are they? ♥I'm not going to say much, lest I reveal my sources, but I've heard otherwise Rekhyt. But I digress, this was a good move. I belive it will make things a lot easier for the staff.
It's not so much a leak as it's just that I listen very closely to what's said on IRC and in public about things.I can't help but think that if someone's leaking to you from that high up, they aren't a very model staff member, now are they? ♥

I suppose what I have heard is merely rumor. That's good to know in the long run.this change was in the works for some time, and basically is something we've (PC) needed to do for a while..
Now the only thing that's REALLY changed, is the ownership of PC.. It used to be pretty much a partnership between the various member sites, and now, we've folded that partnership and are 'privately' owned - an independent site. hopefully that makes sense..
as far as members and even the staff overall, there are no major outward changes.. aside from the lack of community sites being listed on the themes (they're now, for the most part, gone) and the admin usergroup change, its the same ole PC.. none of the rules have changed, and everything works the same.. it will, however allow for some possible future expansion and run smoother staffwise in the long run.
