I would just kind of chill out and wait for them to shut up. n_n"
A guy I know does that, so when I'm on the phone with him, I just have to wait for him to stop. Most of the time, at least. He tends to keep talking when I've told him that I have to get off of the phone, so sometimes I just have to interrupt to tell him that I have to eat or whatever.
