Before I begin talking about my suggestion I wanted to get something straight. I think this is my 3rd post in this section in the 2 weeks that I have been with PC. Now I know you will say "Oh no, no, it's fine." if I say that I don't want to be a bothersome, so I wont. But I want you guys to know that when I suggest something I am not trying to overwhelm PC with requests, and I know you are probably busy working on the server issues that have been going on lately, I am merely throwing out ideas for the future.

Ok, now that I have that out of the way...I have found it hard for me to keep up with threads. I have to search and search until I find it again and then look through a bunch of pages to where I posted to see if someone replied to what I said. One forum I belong to has a thing under the user CP called "My Content" and when you click on it, it shows you all the replies to your posts, threads, messages, etc. and I found it very convenient. Here is a link to the forum software that the forum uses https://www.invisionpower.com/products/board/

I hope you take my suggestion into consideration!

If I'm understanding this right, it's kind of... excessive, don't you think?

What I do whenever I look is either find the thread, and click last page, where my post would usually be at, if not the second to last page. Or if it's an old thread, go to your profile, go to statistics, and click either Posts by you or threads by you. You'd easily find the posts there. Along with any possible responses to them.

Edit: Thread subscriptions. I forgot all about those. Oh well.

If you click "thread tools" at the top of a thread, you can subscribe to the thread and find it in your User Control Panel to check if it's been updated. :)

Don't worry about the suggestions, haha. More is better for the community and all.

Your suggestion sounds like thread subscriptions tbh - it shows you in your User CP when a thread which you subscribed to gets posted in. Failing that, you're able to search all of your posts from the Statistics tab on your profile. What does a Your Content tab do that these two don't do?

    edit: ninja'd w/e

Well you could use subscriptions, you can click the 'view subscriptions' part of your control panel and it will show you any threads you have subscribed to (which you do so by clicking the 'thread tools' button at the top of the first post).

I think that's pretty much what you're asking for - you can even get email notifications I believe.

    Edit/Ninja'd, twice.

*sigh* I know about subscriptions, I just think it is a bother to subscribe to almost every thread I post on. For this one I just so happened to keep the tab open and refreshed before I left it. Well, thkx for the feedback.

Go to your User CP and under Settings and Options click Edit Options, then scroll down to Messaging and Notification and you will see a subtitle of Default Thread Subscription Mode. Select something from the drop down menu other than do not subscribe. I use no email notification so I can just check my CP for new posts and my inbox wont get full of emails from PC. If you do this you will be automatically subscribed to threads that you post in. Hope this helps :D
