Your Favorite Game Protagonist

Definitely Cyrus. That guy seriously gives me the heebityjeebies >.> but he was kinda cool at the same time.

But mostly scary.

I'd have to go with Red also, but not exactly for the games. In the games, the protagonist is what you make them. I love red, for his defeat of blue in the manga. Best battle ever, period.

It seems the original is still the best, as Red is super-popular. However...

I do have a soft spot for "Brendan", but I prefer to call him Ruby due to Pokemon Adventures. (Seriously, it's like he is me, we're so similar).

I hope I'm not making fun of you, but Red would be a pretty interesting antagonist ;)

"Eh, after all these years, I see that Team Rocket had the right idea! Alright Charizard, let's go see if that recruiter's still waiting at Nugget Bridge!"

Anyways, my favorite is Red. If Blue was the protagonist though, I'd pick him.
 
Since most of the playable protagonists lack any significant character development (they are YOU after all...), I base my judgement on appearance and style...two things that Brendan excels at. :D
 
This is tough. :\ I'm going to have to say Red Kris because she was the first female. :) She started the tradition of always having a female character available in the main games. :) For that, shes my favourite protagonist. :)
 
I'll go and say Crys too. While she's not by any means my favorite character in the manga, I never choose Gold when I play Crystal. It's the only game she's in. So of course I'm going to pick her~ While Lyra is only in HGSS...yeah, I don't pick her. >_> She can go away. I think Crys would have been adorable on the DS screen but noooo. ;;
 
It is true that the character has no set personality so that anyone playing can put themself into the situation, however, when I look at the characters I can imagine what their personality would be like and if they are anything like I imagine them, then my favorite would be Kris or Red.
 
I have to pick Wes. Out of all the protagonists of the Pokemon world, he is probably the coolest.

Plus! He rides a motorcycle! How cool is that!?

How did I not remember him? Oldest protagonist, too. And that's what I really liked about him since I sure as heck wasn't 10 when Colosseum came out. It's definitely my favorite Spin-off game, too. But yes, that motorcycle > bikes. ;)
