I pick Paul because he is just awesome. He caught Gliscor where Team Rocket couldn't, and Ash and friends didn't stop him. His Electabuzz also hits ground types, so take that pikachu. Unlike Ash's other rivals, he's not just a more glorified Ash.

Barry is also cool because it always seem he's on caffeine and sugar rushes all the time. He's just so hyper.

When will Paul and Barry ever met up? It would be a crime if they never meet. =[

I found Gary extremely irritating in the early sections of the series, but after his first major loss in the Kanto League he mellows out a little and becomes a much more likeable character. After that he just gets better-- I mean, he becomes a scientist! <3 Personally I'd much rather watch a series about Gary wandering around and just studying the Pokémon world than Ash bumbling about fighting battle after battle and never really improving.

I like Paul because he has a stuck up attitude and he thinks negative about things lol. He's also the strongest to me out of all of the rivals on the list. Gary has gotten weaker both by Pokemon and being an actual rival, he use to be my favorite but not anymore

Well, Paul, Drew and... Zoey, I think I voted for.

Paul, is just, quite possibly, imo, the best thing that happened to the newest seasons. He's the only person (That I can recall) that has ever either made Ash doubt himself, or burn up in a fury unmatched by what anyone else could do. That, and he manages to beat Uberchu is epic.

Drew... well, he's the only rival for May that I remember. Haven't really watched much after Season 5.

Zoey... no real reason. Only saw her once, which is more then how much I saw Kenny, so... yeah.

Well, since Harley was the only one said, I guess I chose that but I think you typoed for Drew.

And Kenny is funny as well.

Um... I chose Drew, Barry, and Zoey.
Drew is May's rival, not Dawn's... :3 I like Drew. He's sorta vain but cool. And he was a good rival for May. Plus his contest battles were fun to watch.
I chose Zoey, because I HATE KENNY! ... O_o. Okay I don't hate him that much... But he's so... small and girly... I dunno. He just rubs me the wrong way. And Zoey is fairly intelligent and experienced.
Finally, I chose Barry... cus he's hilarious. >,< I love Gary too, but it's been a while since I've actually seen him as a RIVAL. Then again, Harrison and Ritchie were good too, but just more... minor.

Um. So. If I had to pick my favorite rival of Ash's... *torn*
Can I just say Gary, Barry (I rhyme lol), and Paul?
Gary because he's Gary. He needs no explanation.
Barry because he's so adorably funny. <3
And Paul because he kicks serious butt, yet infuriates me at the same time.

As for Dawn... er. I suppose Zoey. Because Nando is hardly there and Kenny is very blah to me.
