Your first Poke'Mon Card

    Tell the story!

    In 3rd grade my friend had these cards and were playing them against another kid. I went over and asked him about it and he said it was "Poke'Mon". I looked through his cards and thought they were neat. Then I asked if I could see the Diglett and he said, "I have a bunch of these, you can have one if you are gonna collect them." So there I was with a crappy Diglett and thought I was cool, but then I learned of all the other cards and such and then I got really into it!
     
    i was in fourth grade and i had seen an onix and it looked weird to me at first,i thought what can that be so i went up to the kids and said,"what are these?",with much interest and they said Pok'emon,he said you can have this one if you want more buy them a target,and thats was my first card an onix.
     
    I was at... Uhh... I Dont remember if it was Las Vegas or San Francisco, meh...
    Anyways...
    I was with my mom looking thru some stores, when I found out something related to Pok?mon (Guess what XD). They were the TCG Cards. Well, I bougth that Starter Deck for Two Players and started playing it, buying more cards, and etc...
    But my REALLY first card was the 1st Movie Promo Pikachu >_>

    I was in 1st grade. I remember people had them and my friend gave me a holographic base set Raichu for free. (base set had just come out.) I ended up trading it at the end of the day for a holographic Machamp (which is so easy to get, I was very dumb.) My first booster pack that I got had a holographic first edition Alakazam that was at the front of the pack. I love that card. I still have it.
     
    I still have my Alakazam, he is my favorite. I wouldn't have guessed PKMN would be out way back then, in 1st grade? But I am 15 and in 9th grade, your a little bit younger then me, so that makes sense.
     
    My first card

    I too bought the starter deck when it first came out. But my first card out of a pack (suprisingly enough) was a Base Set Charizard.
     
    The first timne I got a pack of cards was at Target. I had been playing the game boy game and thought they might be cool. I openend up the pack and got pokemon breeder as my first card. lots of time and money later, here i sit with it still in my hands.

    Yeah. XD. well, it all started long long ago....XD back in the bad old days when pokemon was just becoming popular...in class our teacher gave out boxing cards....I wanted one. XD So I went to my grandfather and asked him to get me some. then a few weeks later, we meet them at the mall. hes like
    "theres this new thing. its called Pokieman (lol), its supposed to be really cool" so I got a jungle pack. I remember my first card was bellsprout. I got 2 in the pack, and I got a Holo Pinsir...I got another one that day. XD Little did I know my fate in these cards....3 years later, I won the nationals in Israel, being the only girl and going to the world wide champiomships ^_^

    In 6th grade I got my first pack. It was a jungle pack that included Butterfree, Tauros, Meowth, a holographic Snorlax, and I forget what else.
     
    I was in third grade. Im in ninth now. I was playing my new red version and i thought it mite be cool to try out some of the cards. I went down to the local wal-mart and bought a booster pack with a venasaur on the front. The first card i got was a potion and when i got near the middle, there was a venasaur. I Began thinking that whichever pokemon is on the front is in the pack. After i bought another pack i found that not to be true.*~*
     
    lol, I probably would've thought that too.
     
    I got a few at once, I was inthe second grade. My niabor had like ten and gave me a diglet(cool looking card). Later a week or two, we where on a indian guides campout(like boyscouts cept ungorganized and you dont do all that scout stuff). And some one showed me a gastley card(art like the diglet one) and a kadbra. So I thought they where cool, and bought some. My first holo was hitmonchan =D. And I've played the game ever since

    I forgot what grade I was in or age for that matter. But I remember I purchased 2 packs of the Japanese base set booster and I was obsessed over the HOLO cards of Ditto and Zapdos. ^_^ I still have those cards in my binder and they are precious. I'm a collector, but I play the card game sometimes only. I like keeping my cards in mint condition. So after I purchased those two Japanese booster packs, I bought covers fer them right away.
