1st Gen Your Pikachu is envolving!!

I wouldn't, that's for sure. If I'm not mistaken, the game has walking over-world sprites for only Pikachu itself, and if it were to evolve, I wouldn't be having the Pokémon following me around any longer, which would indeed suck. Following Pikachu is what makes Pokémon Yellow so special, if you ask me, and if we take that away, a major part of it is gone.

If they include Raichu sprites alongside, however, then maybe I would consider it. If not, it's a definite no.
