My team isn't finished because I just restarted my FireRed. But it's going to consist: Charizard, Vileplume, Poliwrath, Raichu, Dragonite, and Alakazam/Gengar. That's going to be my non-legend team in FR.

Metagross is my Psychic, but I could import an Eevee and replace Metagross's Psychic moves with something else.

    Anything else I need/should have?

No, no, no sir. Metagross is a PHYSICAL attacker, and one of the best.

    Metagross @ Leftovers/Choice Band
    Trait: Clear Body
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Earthquake
    - Meteor Mash
    - Rock Slide/Sludge Bomb/Rest
    - Explosion/Agility/Sleep Talk/Toxic

The EV spread depends on which moveset you go with. I would also lose Gyarados (crappy in-game Pokemon) and replace it with Gengar, which will give you a great compliment to Metagross as a special attacker. Your last Pokemon should be something that take hits, like Milotic, or a WishPasser like Vaporeon. That will even out your team very nicely.

Unless you cheated to change the type of Rayquaza, you have pretty big weaknesses you aren't thinking about:
My Emerald team is (without rare candies BUT cheated to get them..)

    Rayquaza (Dragon-Flying) - Lv. 82
    Metagross (Steel-Psychic) - Lv. 74
    Tyranitar (Rock-Dark) - Lv. 78
    Swellow (Normal-Flying) - Lv. 63
    Houndoom (Dark-Fire) - Lv. 79
    Waillord (Water) - Lv. 80

My only true weakness is ice pokémon....
You have a 4x weakness to not only Ice, but Fighting as well. Not to mention the fact that you have THREE 2x weakness to Ground and Rock and two 2x weakness to Water, Electric, and Grass. Swampert destroys your entire team rather effortlessly.

Houndoom, Swellow, and to an extent Wailord are your obvious weak links here. Tyranitar makes Houndoom practically useless, especially since they share such similar weaknesses. Same with Rayquaza and Swellow.

Your main problem is that you have no real special sweeper to speak of and you need a Pokemon that can actually take a few hits. I would immediately get rid of Houndoom and replace it with Gengar. One of the best special attackers in the game, great immunity to cover Tyranitar's 4x weak, and its Trait removes its Ground weak. Since your physical sweeping quota is more than adequate, I would also exchange Metagross for Sceptile. It is quick, can stall with the ever popular SubSeed, and most importantly it sends Swampert crying home to mommy. The last change I would make is losing Swellow for either Snorlax, Blissey, or (no laughing) Porygon2. All can take special attacks easily, but each is unique in what they can do. Snorlax can stall while it pumps up incredibly powerful physical attacks. Blissey can stall while it cures teammates or statuses opponents. Porygon2 can also handle getting attacked physically and can use special attacks pretty well.

I might consider switching Wailord for Vaporeon too, only because Vaporeon can WishPass to its teammates, which can really help this team out. I would also switch out Rayquaza with a not so cheap, but still powerful Salamence.

The end result is that while you still have your 4x weakness to Ice and Fighting, you have excellent counters. You also limit your team to only having TWO 2x weakness (to Grass the rare Bug attacks), thanks to Gengar.

Of course, if this is just an in-game team you are welcome to keep the team you have. Rayquaza will be able to handle all threats itself.
