In Shiny Gold, you can just evolve the trade Pokemon at higher levels

ya u just lvl them up in shiny gold , but in my actual gold version i traded for it , same thing with my golem

My regular advance team would rotate around, but my Uber team consisted of the following pokemon:
Slaking, Mewtwo, Lugia, Kyogre, Groudon, and Shedinja

It got me to the quarterfinal round of JAA at Philadelphia. I lost because I protected with the wrong pokemon, and then my Groudon left my opponent's Rayquaza with 3 HP after two hits of Ancientpower.
