The upcoming Pokemon Go game was announced to be released on both the Android and the iOS platforms. There's no news yet of any Windows Phone release, but as Pokemon ventures more into the mobile gaming market, we may start to see more Windows Phone support (and maybe others!)

So which would be your preferred mobile platform to play Pokemon games on? Any reason for your selection? (Is it your favorite mobile platform in general? Do you feel one of them has an interface/peripherals that are better suited to Pokemon games than the others?)

Well, I have a really old Galaxy S2 that can't run crap and an iPad Air so I kinda don't have any options. I guess I'd have to use the iPad but maybe I'll get a better phone by the time Pokémon GO is released. I doubt it though because I'm pretty much the only person ever who hasn't broken a phone in their life, I've never even cracked the screen on any of my phones.

I'd have to say Android. I find iPhone's to e rather expensive and you can always overclock your Android to help you game. I have an Android device so I might be a little bias though xD Other than that, there aren't any real reason to go with one over the other when it comes to Pokemon games. it's difficult to compare the systems without speaking of gaming in general >~<

When it comes to Pokemon Go, I assume there is going to be more support for Android. But overall it's going to be fairly the same.
