I have two possible teams:
Espeon
Umbreon
Jolteon
Leafeon
Vaporeon
and Flareon.

My baby Eevee (the child of Jolteon and Leafeon) and Glaceon (Espeon and Umbreon's kid) would stay help my mom around the house *sniffles for leaving them behind*

Second (was a lot harder, considering I forced myself not to choose any Eeveelutions):
Ninetales
Swampert
Meganium
Dragonite
Luxray
and Froslass

Just because I love them all and they're made of win (for me, anyways).

I would most certanly bring my starter with me. In this case, Blaziken. I just love him to death.
Nextly, I would bring my Swellow. He/She (I forget the gender) is good buddies with my Blaziken, so I guess I shouldn't break the crew up, right?
I guess I'd bring my Lucario as well. They just plain rule.
I would almost definatly bring something in the Treeko line, and breed it with a Ditto many times and give away the baby Treekos. Maybe they'll rub off on those stupid humans.
As I implied, I'd bring a Ditto for breeding perposes.

Finally, I'd bring a Buizel and give it to my brother. He loves Buizel =3
EDIT: Or Charmander. He seems to have his heart set on starting with a Charmander.

Anything in the Cyndaquil line
Larvitar (Wouldn't evolve it, it'll get too big :P)
Pikachu
Tyrogue (Wouldn't evolve, It's too cute)

Glaceon - Favorite pokemon. Free snow cones!
Milotic - Can ride it in the water.
Arcanine - I like dogs and can make you fire on a cold day.
Lucario- hmmm it can beat up people i don't like :D
Salamance- I can fly!
Espeon - when im too lazy to get up it can use its psychic powers to bring me stuff.

In real life, i would like a

1, Snorlax (as long as he got his own food :P)
2, Togepi (soooooooo cute!)
3, Pidgeot (Forget staraptor, this is the original big bird)
4, Wailord (though I live about twenty miles from the coast ._.)
5, Zubat (the ultimate in emo)
6, Croagunk (the real Pokemon god)

Hmmm....looking at this list, I'd need a biger house...
 
Murkrow because Murkrows are awesome.
Skuntank isn't smelly unless it wants to be.
Houndoom are also awesome.
Gengar would be fun.
RAICHUUUUUU:O.
Drangonite is also fun.

Yipes, I need a bigger house. (for Dragonite - the others are okay.)

~ Hitmontop - My buddy.
~ Jolteon - My buddy.
~ Spinarak - To sit on my shoulder. He's too cute. =3
~ Flygon - For flyin' around.
~ Typhlosion - For protection. xP
~ Lanturn - My pet fish. Gonna need a big tank though..

Well, for battling I'd have~
- Infernape
- Torterra
- Azumarill
- Altaria
- Gengar
- Raichu

But for living purposes...
- Flareon
- Quilava
- Sentret (no one ever thinks of it...)
- Togepi
- Ralts
- Absol

But if we can have legends...
- Latias
- Giratina
- Flareon
- Quilava
- Ralts
- Azumarill
 
My team of six would be this:

- Luxray (my own Luxray, Shin, from Diamond)
- Pichu (One that would never evolve and instead stay as a cutesy little brat. He'd know Volt Tackle, though.)
- Vaporeon (With a Hydro Pump powerful enough to finish off any Pokémo there is!)
- Rapidash (I love Rapidash! She'd be called Radeem and she'd be just like Radeem from my fic.)
- Gible (My dear Gible from Diamond: everyone has to have a dragon in their team. Also, she's still Gible because someone has to be able to evolve.)
- Riolu (My little Riolu called Aaron!)

I'm not much of a fighter anyway, so I'd probably not fight very much. I'd hang out with my team and make trips to islands and forests 'n' stuff!
